” It’s nice to meet you too “. We were all being passed from one member to another. But people seemed to be hugging me longer. A small woman with long black hair and green eyes that popped against her olive skin tone. Was the next to approach me. She smiled. ” I feel her in you. You have no idea how happy it makes us all that a piece of Sianna lives on. When we got word we all cried. “And then she did something that shocked me. I was expecting a hug , but instead she placed her hand against my heart and closed her eyes. A serene smile lands on her face and she giggles. I feel my insides go warm and she sighs. I looked at Rion in confusion and he was watching us with joy.

” She is speaking with Sianna ” she giggles again. ” She is our witch here , she is also able to see and talk with animal spirits “, he explains. “She and Sianna are the best of friends. ” She opens her eyes and looked at me embarrassed ” I am so sorry I have not even introduced myself before I touched you , I am Shira “. I nodded at her. ” Anthea , what did she say ? “I asked her and she shook her head. ” She was just being Sianna. She is always making jokes. ” Really because I hadn’t seen that. It was mainly snarky comments and us disagreeing. But I agree with her because it looks like that was what she wanted.

Once, we had all been met and greeted. Rion and Violet wanted to show us where we would be staying. From the amazing white sandy beach there was a path up through the trees. The walk took about fifteen minutes before we came to a little village, which was surprising. It wasn’t what you would expect , but the buildings were actually quite modern with a beach shack feel to them. ” There is more further up that path there which is where all the empty ones are at , they’re all two or three bedrooms. We have thirty living spaces so far , we wanted to make sure we always had spare for if we had more members join us. Give them their space straight away. Down here is where we all gather. The supply cabin is just down there on the left. The fire pit is here obviously. We also have a gym near the supply cabin, too. Not that it gets used much. The island provides us with plenty of exercise. I will show you the empty ones and you can pick which one you like. Mine is that one there and Violets is that one “, he points to two out of the five you can see.

Violet grabs Devon’s hand and starts dragging him towards her house, a suggestive look on her face. Me , Enzo , Peter and Abigail all followed Rion. The other living spaces were all just as beautiful. Rion pointed out the empty ones but Enzo chose for us all. ” Which are the three beds ?” he asked, and Rion pointed to some. ” We will all go in that one ” he said and when Rion looked at him confused. Enzo smirked ” Abigail will be where I am , and I know Peter will follow. And Anthea will be where me and Peter are. All together, all safe. ” He told him. Rion looked at me. ” Well, if Anthea wants more privacy she could always have one of the free ones , or she could come and stay with me “.

Enzo looked at me. And I felt trapped. Because Rion was watching me hopefully too. But I knew where it was best for me to be. ” Enzo’s right. Peter would kick my a*s if I didn’t go, bunk with them ” I said, blaming my brother , who knew if he would do it or not. But that was my excuse. Peter threw his arms around my shoulders and backed me up. ” Damn right, I will , let’s get all settled, let’s go. My wolf wants to run around out here “. I have never been more thankful to my brother. Rion looked disappointed but I was in a strange place with strange people. I wanted to be where I knew everyone.

Rion literally let us into the house and then disappeared. Mumbling that he will be at his home where all the research is kept. To go when we are ready. He didn’t exactly look thrilled now. The house was beautiful , but when it came to the bedrooms I came up stumped. Peter bagged one , Abigail the other. So where would that leave me and Enzo? I didn’t want to just assume we would be sharing a room. I mean, even at his mum and dad’s house, I had been given my own room. That he pretty much slept in most nights. When he waltzed in, I stood at the door feeling awkward. I didn’t know what to do.

But when he noticed I wasn’t following, he looked over his shoulder at me , his eyebrows drawn in. ” What are you doing ? ” he asked me. ” I ermm didn’t want to assume , I mean I can take the sofa. It looked really comfy ” I stuttered out my words. He threw our bags that he still had onto the bed. ” Is that where you would rather sleep ?” he asked me. I looked down and shook my head. ” Then get your a*s in here , because if you went and slept on the sofa then I would be on the other sofa regardless. Or I would be squishing onto yours with you. I told you , I ‘ll only leave if you tell me to. ” Blowing out a relived breath I walked in. I really wanted to change , but my skin was also itching. Sianna wanted to get out.

Going to the window, I looked out and gasped at the view in the distance. I could see the very top of a waterfall. I felt Enzo’s hand on my shoulder. He stood behind me and looked out at the view with me. ” I will tell them that this place is very kind to the eyes. ” He murmurs , lost in thought. ” Sianna wants out like now , she has been blanking me for days now when I try to talk to her. She took a back seat. But the minute we got off that boat she was riding me to let her out ” I confess.

His lips graze my ear , his breath blowing across my skin. ” Then let’s let them out , mine wants out too ” he breaths. I bit my l*p ” Do you think they will mind if we take off the moment we get here ?” He lets out a huff ” Like I give a f**k , lets go blow off some steam. My wolf is hissy. He has never got to have a proper run with his mate yet . It will make him happy. And me , I want to be there as you see new things , you get this cute dazed look on your face when you do “, he pokes fun. Turning, I poked him in the stomach and he laughed. I hear a noise out of the window and see Abigaila and Peter below , Peter turns his back. Abigail quickly undresses and shifts and then Peter undresses once Abigail’s Wolf turned her back to him and he shifted. Two big blurs of fur went running off. The second they were both on paws.

” Looks like we are not the only ones eager ” Enzo says. I turned and looked back at him. Lean up, k**s his cheek and then take off running down stairs. I heard him chasing after me and as soon as I hit the back of the house I started stripping my clothes off. When I was naked, I turned expecting to see Enzo stripping too, but he wasn’t, he was standing staring at me. ” Enzo ” I said and his eyes snapped up. ” s**t, yea sorry ,, I got distracted ” he leered, his eyes traveling back down. Rolling my eyes, I gave in to Sianna and shifted.

Enzo, once there was nothing to perv over hewas quick to follow and then I let her take us. She knew this place, these lands. She knew the best spots to go to. So I didn’t fight her. We ran through trees and large openings , she ran us through shallow water streams and stopped on high points to look out. But when I saw her heading for the waterfall, I got excited. She didn’t go to the bottom of it though , she went to a stoop half way up the waterfall and then stopped. You could look down at the base where there looked to be a large pool that would be amazing to swim in. But Sianna had other ideas. I didn’t notice it at first, but there was a shallow ledge along the cliff side. She walked along it confidently and the further he went i saw an opening behind the water , the water came down like a curtain over it. She went into the opening and it led to a large cave-like opening behind the water. The water shields us with its wall over never ending streams.

It was beautiful. Inside there were what looked to be man-made seats. Candles on a stoop and blankets in a corner. Sianna finally stopped and laid down after hours of running and playing with Enzo. ” Peace ” she whispered. ” This place is beautiful ” I answered her as I watched Enzo come through the gap. ” My peaceful place , I have always come here alone before. For days at a time, to meditate . But towards the end, I never did. I felt I didn’t need to keep my magic pure anymore. Something changed in me, Anthea , something I could not explain. It was like it wasn’t me anymore. I visited here just before I left to fight the warlocks. I had a plan. “

I felt confused. ” What do you mean, what plan ? You never brought Rion here? ” I asked her. ” Anthea , learn about me. Learn who I was. Talk to my people. I needed you to come here . And no, this was my space , my peace. But Enzo needs peace too and I would like to get to know his wolf, so if you don’t mind, can we stay here for a while ? “she asked me. I mean I had no problem with that , my mind was still reeling from trying to figure out what she had just said. ” Yea sure “, I answered her and she made a whiny noise. Enzos Wolf came over and laid beside her and they curled into one another. ” Thank you Anthea , I feel you need to learn who I was before we bond with one another. I chose you , you need to choose me ” she whispered.
