We were literally running around the pack , until Anthea looked ready to drop from exhaustion. After a lot of coaxing, I managed to convince her she needed some rest. It took a lot of work , everyone was on very high alert about whether Yianna would come back. Anthea still needed to release the magic to the goddess , but one thing after another just kept coming up. To where it was now almost three in the morning. We were stopping at the pack house where we could all keep close. I think that was the only way she would settle, at least hopefully a little bit.

By the time I got her to our room , she was pretty much asleep on her feet. Adrenaline had been running that high , she was now crashing. We all were. But even Yianna had to rest too, right ? Hopefully she had gotten all of her antics out of the way for today. And I hope for her sake, whatever she had taken Antheas family for, it wasn’t to give them the same fate as Rion. Because if one of them turned up like Rion, I don;t think there would be any talking Anthea down as to giving the magic away just yet. Yianna couldn’t beat her with it. If she could, she would have by now. It was why she was playing tactical.

If you didn’t have the brawn , you had to have the brains. Hopefully, the females in the cells will be stronger tomorrow and they can help us out some. Anything would be much appreciated. The last thing I wanted was Anthea to be taken from me. ” Come here baby ” I said calmly and quietly. She slowly walked over to me and I helped her undress. Then I lifted her up bridal style and carried her to the bed and laid her down , tucking the quilt around her body.

I heard her soft snores before I had even moved away to undress myself. Once naked , I lay at the side of her and pulled her body into me. I reacted like any hot-blooded male when my hard p***s nestled between her cheeks. But I wouldn’t pursue anything. My ever-eager libido would have to back off. My lady needed sleep.

I feel in a fit full sleep of weird images flashing through my mind. They were all the worst outcomes out of this whole ordeal. Anthea being taken , Anthea losing her life. Or the worst happening to her family and seeing Anthea fall into a shell of her personality. Every bad f*****g outcome. I hadn’t realized how many thoughts and fears I was suppressing , to just keep moving forward. And to not have to think of them , not until I relaxed and my sub-conscious pushed them forward anyway.

I couldn’t wake myself up from them. Then, out of nowhere, the horror show morphed into something else. The brightest of lights came at me, blinding me , the vision that had just been happening of Yianna stabbing Anthea and me not getting to her was drifting away. Until I was in a nothingness of white , bright white everywhere. Then that started changing until I was standing on top of a large mountain with the moon super close. So close it was mesmerizing. ” Hello Enzo ” a female voice said. I span on my heel. And there was a woman standing there smiling at me. Around her was a beaming light that seemed to bounce off of her skin. ” What’s happening, who are you ? ” I asked and her smile got bigger. ” I thought that beautiful thing behind you would give you a clue ” she laughed and it sounded tinkering.

” The moongodess ” I felt myself say in awe. She laughed at me again and nodded slightly. ” I brought Anthea to this very spot. To tell her who she truly is “, she told me. Gaining my composure , I bowed my head in respect. Instead of acting like a fangirl, ” It is an honor to meet you ” I told her. ” As it is for me to meet you. Enzo , I am in need of your help. That is why I brought you here. ” I lifted my head and paid attention to her. I waited for her to divulge what she wanted. ” Anthea’s future keeps turning and twisting , it’s hard to know what is the right thing to do. But the one thing I do know is she needs to release the magic. Events that may or may not happen tomorrow depending on Yianna’s decision is what Anthea will choose to do regarding it. People’s future and seeing it is subject to decisions made. I can see a future and then, just like that ” she snaps her finger. ” It will change “.

She sighs , ” Sianna chose well in Anthea. Choosing her , but it can also be the worst decision. The heart of all the bad outcomes all comes with her not giving me the magic back. While Anthea sleeps tonight , you can help me take it back. Your mate link. It also links you to that magic. I can move that magic to you , and then remove it from you. What I am asking is to take a decision away from your mate. If one of the outcomes happens, she will blame you for doing it , it will take a toll on your mating. I know it is wrong of me to ask of you. But just know it is what is best for her. And you and her having a future. It can not happen like I said , it is a flip of the coin. I believe humans say ” she smiles.

” It will also be less painful for Anthea if you do it. Magic extraction is not exactly a walk in the park ” I laugh at her terminology. “More human sayings ? ” I asked her and she shrugs and smiles guiltily. ” I like to watch them , they’re love stories can be very much like a soap opera sometimes, ” she answers. It was a no-brainer for me , as long as I kept her safe. Any other outcome we could work on, as long as she is still here with me. ” I will do it ” I said without hesitation.

” One more thing , do not feel intimidated by Anthea’s status. Like an Alpha and a Luna , they make each other strong. You will make and keep her strong. The vision started moving again , until we were at somewhere I very much recognised. We were in the cave , mine and Anthea’s. ” Am I actually here now ? Or am I still asleep ?” I asked, confused.

” You are very much here in the flesh ” she said, looking around. ” My favourite love story started here, so much passion , so much conflict. I can not wait to see the ending ” she sighed and looked back at me. Her eyes bounced outside of the cave and she looked up towards the moon that shone down on us. ” I understood Sianna’s request to live , when you live forever and you’re so far away. You envy the emotions you all feel and the adventures you have , even the bad ones and the bad feelings. It is lonely ” she admitted. To see a god act so normally, it was strange. I guess you put them into a category or build a picture of them in your head, and none of those pictures were this , so humble , so sad.

” I am not sad, Enzo ” she answered my thoughts. It shouldn’t shock me. She can hear them but it does. It makes me feel a little guilty. ” I am envious , but I do feel love. I love all of my children, each and every one of them. Even the ones that are sometimes disappointing or mischievous. You love your children unconditionally. I have been blessed with many. You will understand soon enough ” she says and I looked at her in shock. She tries to act like she slipped up , but something tells me it was not an accident she slipped up.

” Wait are you saying Anthea is . . . . ” I couldn’t say the actual word. The goddess shrugs. ” Maybe what we are about to do here is the first bit of protection you will ever do for your children. You and Anthea , I have seen one vision. That you birth two children , one boy and one girl and they hold power that is magnificent. Anthea will feel their strength , even in the womb. Ever heard of too much pressure that can cause an eruption ” she asked me. ” Like a volcano ? ” she nodded and I got it. I got everything she was trying to say. ” Why so cryptic , why not just tell me all of this before on the mountain ? “I asked her.

She looks at me clueless, ” Tell you what, Enzo ? I can not divulge such things that would cause an imbalance to the balance “. Her eyes narrowed at me. She wasn’t meant to tell me, she wasn’t meant to say. ” And neither can you ” her voice rattles through my mind. Wait ? Had she actually spoken that out loud before or in my mind ? Had I seen her lips move , thinking back, I hadn’t really been looking at her when she said it. I was looking at the moon behind her mostly. Not until she had already said it did I look back at her.

” Anthea can not know , no one can know. Not until all of this is over. I take that magic back and Yianna finds out that Anthea is carrying pups destined for such big things. Her attention will move , she will sense Anthea’s strength and believe it is what magic is left. But it won’t be. It is the strength of your unborn pups. To keep them safe, you must keep them hidden from everyone. When they are born, you will need to protect them. But when they come of age , your children will be amazing. Anthea and Sienna will know what to do to keep them safe when they are born. But always be truthful to them , warn them of what is to come. But it will be the biggest secret your family will hold , your whole family. You all needed to keep them safe , all the preparations in your pack. The acceptance of difference is what is needed to keep your children safe. Your children will be poached , you’ll need an army to protect them”. She warns in my mind.

” Are these thoughts safe , you telling me this ? ” she nods. ” I have made sure , that this conversation is never heard , nor it ever happened. When you eventually tell Anthea , make sure it is through your link. I will watch over you and make sure that conversation is safe too. As well as when you explain it to your babies’ aunts, uncle and grandparents , keep it all in the mind, Sianna will help keep it hidden. Your babies are her babies and apart of why they are so special is coming from her, they will be my official grand pups , I will visit them often. In their dreams. I assure you I will protect them in everyway I can also ” she smiles , her mouth never moving to talk.

Then she nods and after she nods she starts talking normally. “So shall we begin?” she asks and I nod dumbly. I was still in shock I was about to become a father. The thought of that dimmed the pain she said I would feel. She had me lay down while she sat cross-legged behind me with her hands on my temples. I felt it the minute I consumed the power.
