” Enzo , Enzo. Wake up “. I shook his shoulder , something was wrong. Very wrong Sianna was pacing inside of me. I could feel her. He opened his eyes groggily and looked up at me with the most adorable sleepy face I had seen. But I couldn’t concentrate on that now. ” She, has, took it, Enzo , I don’t know how. But she has it. She’s taken it “. Tears started to stream down my face at the sheer panic I felt. He groggily sat up and rubbed his eyes ” I know she has baby “. He looked at me like it wasn’t a massive deal.

” How is Yianna getting my magic is not a big deal ” I screeched, getting off of the bed. ” Wait what , Yianna doesn’t have it ” he told me. I looked at him confused. ” How does she not, it’s gone, Enzo? ” I cried at him. He jumped off of the bed and grabbed my hands and tapped his head. His voice drifted through our link. ” Yianna didn’t take it ” . He tapped his head again , indicating I needed to speak to him through our link.

” Then who did ? ” his hand came up and stroked my cheek, a smile gracing his lips. ” The moon goddess came to me last night , I met her. Wolves only dream of being so blessed. She took the magic Anthea ” he explained. ” How , why ? I don’t understand “, I told him. He sighed and pulled me over to the bed to sit back down. His face got serious. ” She feared you would not give it up. She took it back through me and our mating link. She said we needed to do it to protect you from you “, he added at the end.

” Why me ? Because I wanted to keep it yesterday “, I asked him and he shrugged. ” I would have given it back , I don;t understand why she had to get it back through you. If she had come to me I would have given it to her. ” I complained, feeling a little hurt that she felt she needed to do that.

He must have gotten the news from Devon, who was looking up at Enzo.

Rushing past Enzo , I threw my arms around her body and hugged her tightly to me. Yianan kept getting to us in one way or another , and she had some of my family. What if she was doing that to them now ? I felt helpless , not knowing where they were. Shira said we could locate them , but then what do we do ? How do we approach her to defeat her? We didn’t know what tricks she had up her sleeves. And now I had less power , I didn’t feel as strong as before. Before I could have defeated her , I had no hesitation about that.

Looking back at Enzo over Violet’s shoulder as she sobbed , he was looking down at me , that was it. ” That was the reason, wasn’t it ? ” he hesitated. Devon glanced up at Enzo, then back down to me. ” He is scared to get close to her, ” Enzo told me back and I rolled my eyes, making sure Devon saw it. ” Tell him I will beat his a*s , if he doesn’t get down here I will rip his balls off”. I heard Enzo chuckle through our link , but I didn’t let the stern face drop that I was throwing Devon’s way.

He wanted to. I could see it. But instead of doing it , he looked down and turned away from us. If looks could kill , the one I was hammering at his back would have dropped him dead. Violet, sensing he was walking away , made her sob harder. It took the pack doctor to come and sedate her to get her to calm down. Enzo carried her up to one of the guest rooms and lay her down.

Once we were done , I wanted to plan concrete and solid plans of how we were going to get my parents back. And how were we going to end her? ” Start by knowing where she is ? ” Samuel said. I agreed with that , and that was what I had wanted before. But we also needed to know how to get them back.

” It is a good start , but what if she is waiting for that and we walk into a trap “, Peter stated from the other side of me. ” We need to see what these ladies have to say.
