Chapter 114

Third Person’s POV

The following night, Andrew and his best warriors await in the shadows of the trees near the small town. He does not bring Morgan. he does not trust Morgan anymore as Morgan wants to have the Queen as his mate, and he and the dark witches are trying to find a way to get her alone so they can capture her during the fight. It goes against everything Andrew believes in. He is upset by how Morgan treats women and does not like that Morgan has his eyes on Gretha. Morgan told him he would let him have Miriam, but he wanted Gretha in return. How many mates does Morgan want? Andrew did not answer him as he felt angry thinking about Gretha being Morgan’s mate and him treating her like a slave and not a mate. Andrew waits. He does not know that Miriam and the wolves of the Kingdom are already in the town waiting for him and his wolves.

Miriam told Paris and Walker about Gretha and what had happened. They came to the little town early in the morning to ensure that there were no humans if a war broke out. They no longer want humans near their battles, as the stories of werewolves, vampires, and other supernatural creatures are dying down. Paris and Walker do not want new stories to reach the internet. They only want peace for their wolves and other creatures that live in the Kingdom. Gretha is with them, and she mind-links Andrew to come to the hotel in the small town. Andrew and his wolves arrive about ten minutes later. Andrew does not even notice the other wolves as he stares at Miriam.

“Miriam! What are you doing here?” Andrew asks.

“Andrew, I am here to tell you I am not your mate, and you need to get it out of your head that I am. I have moved on and will not leave my mate for you. I know you only obsess with me because you think I am the one you want, but I am not,” Miriam says. Andrew looks at Miriam and realizes that his wolf is quiet inside him and does not feel Miriam. He looks at Gretha, and his wolf is excited.

“You do not love me, do you? You keep looking at Gretha. It is because she is your true Luna,” Miriam says.

“Yes, I had to see you realize that, and I have wasted so much time chasing after you. Gretha, will you be my mate? Will you accept me?” Andrew asks, and he looks nervous. Gretha is surprised and does not know what to say at first. She looks at Miriam, who smiles and nods at her.

“I will become your Luna and your mate, Alpha,” Gretha says.

“I want my pack to join the Kingdom after Morgan and his men attack. Morgan is an evil wolf who wants the Queen as his mate and many others. He is not a proud wolf, but I think my wolves and I will return to him and keep you in the loop about their plans. I will leave Gretha with you and mind-link her with their plans,” Andrew says. He then turns to his mate and asks if he can talk to her alone. Gretha nods, and they walk outside.

“I am sorry about everything and the years we have wasted because of my stupidity. Can you forgive me?” Andrew asks.

“Of course I forgive you. I knew you were my mate. Miriam and her gypsies will protect you and the pack against magic attacks. She told me she would. I was ready to challenge you for the Alpha position, but I am happy to be your Luna,” Gretha says. Andrew pulls her into his arms and k****s her. He sinks his fangs into her neck, marking her as soon as he stops kissing her. Gretha marks Andrew, and Andrew knows he will have to hide his mark from Morgan and the witches. He does not care. He does not want anyone to touch Gretha. She is his mate, and he will not make the same mistake twice. He wants her to stay by his side even when they are apart.

“Promise me you will be careful. Also, promise me you and the pack will no longer pray to the dark gods,” Gretha says. She knows she will not be able to handle the death of another partner, and she needs Andrew.

“I will be careful. I will only pray to Selene and tell the pack that we will no longer pray to the dark gods. Can you ask Miriam to cover my mark until after the battle?” Andrew asks. They walk back to the wolves inside, and Miriam smiles happily when she sees the happy couple. She can tell that they are mates now and only need to do the b***d ritual when they return to their pack grounds after the battle.

“Miriam, can you maybe cover Andrew’s mark until after the battle? We do not want Morgan to get a sniff in the nose about what is happening,” Gretha asks. Miriam smiles as she chants a few words, and Andrew’s mark is covered.

“What did you tell Morgan? Where did you say you were going?” Miriam asks.

“I told him I needed to go see an old friend about him helping us in the battle. He is always busy with women and does not really care what I am doing or where I am going,” Andrew says.

“Well, you better get going and get back to him, but what will you tell him when you arrive without friends to help?” Miriam asks.

“I will tell him I could not find my friend and his pack, and I think he either joined the Kingdom or he and his pack were killed,” Andrew says.

“I have a better idea. Why don’t you take one of the Kingdom’s packs with you? When the battle starts, we can attack him and his witches from within,” Paris says. She knows she and Walker can not go as many wolves recognize them as the King and Queen the moment they meet them.

“That is a great idea. We will go,” Peter says. He has adapted so well to being a werewolf that Walker gave him a pack to run and made him an Alpha.

“That will be great. Peter is about your age, and on your way back to Morgan and the witches, you can work out a story of when and how you have met,” Walker says. Andrew smiles as he can feel that the King and Queen want to send some of their men with him to protect him and his pack. They are genuinely like everyone says. They are caring warriors. He can feel how strong they are.

“I will be glad that I do not have to tell him another story, as I think he and the witches are already a little skeptical about my pack and me,” Andrew says. They know it is time for them to leave. Pieter and his pack take weapons with them to make things more believable. However, they will not use it against the Kingdom, and Morgan and his witches do not have to know it, but they will get a big surprise when the battle breaks out, and the wolves that are supposed to be their friends turn against them. Morgan is a bastard, and Andrew can not wait for him to realize that Andrew and his pack, together with the strongest fighters, turned against him and the dark witches and warlocks. The warlock arrived a few hours before Andrew left and got on his private plane. His pack is wealthy, and his mother and father are running the pack’s business while he is gone. They are unhappy about him wanting to attack the Kingdom, but they have no say in the whole situation as Andrew is the Alpha. Andrew mind-links his parents and tells them what is happening. His parents are happy that he has changed his mind and realizes that Gretha is his actual luna. They are so glad that he has seen for himself that Miriam is not his mate. They can not wait to see their son and his mate again, and they tell him to be careful but fight with pride alongside the King and Queen. They are also happy that the pack will join the Kingdom after defeating everyone. They know the Kingdom will have to go and clean out the other Kingdoms and that Andrew will be able to point out the other Kingdoms that plotted against them. It will be easier for the Kingdom to go and destroy the other royals and unite all the wolves once and for all. Well, there will always be rouges and rouge pack that does not want to be part of the Kingdom, but they will only be a handful and not a problem for the Kingdom of Wessex.

Andrew and Peter reach where the witches and Morgan are waiting for them. They have moved to London so they can be closer to the Kingdom. Andrew and Peter have decided to tell the wolves that they knew each other from university and were old friends. Peter and his pack are not interested in joining the Kingdom but are well-trained and have been at war with the pack next to them for a while. Morgan and Ursula are not interested in their story as long as they have more wolves to fight. They do their own thing and do not worry about Peter and Andrew. Andrew knows they are planning how to get rid of him and his friends after the war. He and Peter heard the old hag and Morgan talk when they thought Andrew and Peter were out hunting for food so they could survive. They have moved into an old empty house on a farm near London. The farm is abandoned, and they can come and go as they please. There are no neighbors around to watch them or question them. They can plan their attack on the Kingdom and party as they want to. Ursula and her witches like to drink, and they go to town often for a night out with the warlocks. They are having fun until their creatures are ready to attack. Ursula and her witches have a cure for hangovers, so they do not mind when they are having a little too much. The vampires join them, but they drink b***d to get drunk, and they have to keep themselves from turning or killing humans as they do not want the Kingdom’s wolves to hear stories and look for them before they are ready. The vampires with the witches and Morgan can not walk in the daylight as they have no sun tattoos and are evil at heart. They are not descendants of Mikhail, but they are his children, and the witches know that some of the original vampires must still be alive somewhere. They do not know where the original vampires are, but they know they will find them when they finish the battle and try to convince them to be friends.

“Well, I think we are ready to attack, and we need to move closer to the Kingdom. The sooner we get this battle over with, the better,” Ursula says to Morgan one night. They are sitting around the table. The witches are drinking, and the rest of the creatures are eating or drinking b***d. Ursula and her witches are flirting with the warlocks, vampires, and werewolves. Morgan enjoys the drunk young witches who will do anything for him. Ursula and her witches use positions to stay young.

“We will move tomorrow and shout the Kingdom when we are settled in,” Morgan says. They know of an old abandoned castle they can use as head courters during the war. They know they must be careful around the Kingdom, but they also know the wolves are relaxed and not worried that anyone will attack them. Little do they know that the wolves are ready for them and that their war will not be as easy as they think. The wolves of the Kingdom pretend to be relaxed and not on high alert. They know about their spies, and Gretha, Andrew, and Peter are working with the Kingdom to defeat the evil forces that threaten the Kingdom.
