Rejected, My Jaded Love
Episode 17

We had just been cleared through the gate at Stone moon when the Guard asks us to please pull over to the parking area on the side as they had an emergency heading their way and didn’t want an accident to occur. I get out of my SUV and tell Joy to stay in the vehicle and I walk back to see if it was anything that I could assist them with. The gate Guards advise that the Alpha had already been notified and that he was en route at this time with his Beta, Gamma, and Head Training Warrior. The Guard advised that the problem would be handled but it involved the Alpha’s and Gamma’s children.

As we are packs that have helped each other out in previous years and have treaty’s together for the last 2 decades, I head back to my SUV and tell the boys to go ahead and get out, just in case. They have both been trained and I would want someone to do the same for my children if they needed help, and we all walk back to the Guard’s booth and stay back, as we will only engage if they need our help. I hear an engine and see two SUV’s doing a high rate of speed towards us, about a mile away and coming fast. The gate is opened for the first SUV to drive through it, but the two now armed Guards had stepped out with rifles to stop the second vehicle. The first vehicle comes through the gate and comes to a stop about 100 feet from the gate. The driver hops out and runs back to the gate to shut it as the Guards stop the second vehicle. The second vehicle stops and the driver hops out and starts yelling towards the first Driver.

I hear another SUV coming from the packhouse direction and it is moving quickly as well. As I turn to look back at the gate, I see 4 girls standing near the back of the first SUV looking scared to come out and approach the gate as I turn to look back towards the fence and at the driver on the other side of the gate.

“She is 18 and is not a member of your pack anymore i***t” I hear the young man at the Guards booth yell out towards the second SUV.

The black SUV coming from the packhouse pulls up at the gate and Alpha Andrew hops out and comes up to the gate as well, nodding at me as he passes. He is closely followed by the Beta, a man that looks a lot like Alpha Andrew, and finally, a younger man just wearing basketball shorts all approach the gate.

“Dixon, open the gate and let the Guards back in, Alpha Heir Taylor will NOT be coming onto our pack lands today”. Alpha Andrew calls out.

“I am sorry Alpha Andrew, but I was sent by her mother to collect her, and her brother is right here with me. You can verify it with him. There was a misunderstanding at our pack, and she ran away, but she needs to come back with us now” Eric calls back out.

“First of all, Sylvia is NOT her mother, and He is NOT her brother. They have abused her for years and she is 18 and can make her own decisions. Secondly, I believe my Luna advised you of what the result would be if any of you dared to come to my pack and tried to get her back. We just went over it yesterday so you cannot have forgotten it already. You are making bad decisions and you haven’t even taken control of your pack yet. Please turn around go back to your pack” Alpha Andrew calls out to them.

The gate is opened and the 4 men standing there (Alpha Andrew, Mason, Bryan, and Brax) move over a little to allow the guards to come back in, and Dixon shuts the gate again. The men go back to standing in a line across the gate, with Dixon now standing with the line of them and a Guard on either side of the line, effectively blocking the girls from Eric and Jeremy’s view. The Guards keep their weapons on them, just in case as Alpha Heir Eric is not agreeing to leave just yet, and he or the other man could be armed.

“Alpha Andrew, it was just a misunderstanding, let me speak with her and make sure that she doesn’t want to come back with us” Eric calls out.

“Fine, you want to hear it from her, that is fine with us.” Alpha Andrew calls back to Eric.

Alpha Andrew turns and walks over to me at the back corner of the SUV and tells me “Jade if you don’t want to speak to him, you really don’t have to. But this can provide you some closure, it is up to you. You know we would never let either of them hurt you. They will not be entering this pack. You are safe here, just let me know if you do want to speak to them. We will be right there with you honey”.

I give a small nod and say “I will tell them that I am staying here. I refuse to leave with them, they would hurt me”.

I step out to walk back to the gate with Alpha Andrew and pass three men also standing near the guard shack, I don’t know if they are pack members as I am new here, so I just nod at them as I pass and head for the gate. I stand between Alpha Andrew and Bryan with Dixon right behind me and Mason and Brax flanking Alpha Andrew and Bryan. I feel safe, even looking out at Eric and Jeremy.

“Mom wants you to come back home. You should not have left we were worried about you as you packed up and left without telling anyone where you were going. Mom could barely sleep last night worrying about you. Thankfully she mentioned that Luna Monica had called and asked questions about you, so we knew you were here. Alpha Edmond then told us to come and get you. Go get packed and get your bike and we will follow you back to Howling Moon” Jeremy told me. He looked like he wanted to say something else but stopped and looked over at Eric.

Eric then said “You should have told us you were so unhappy at the pack. We would have made sure that you were taken care of. Just go get your things and we will get you straightened out when we get back to the pack.

I shivered as although the words sounded friendly, the underlying threat of what he was really saying was frightening and I knew I would not ever be leaving Howling Moon pack again if I did go with them. Bryan put his hand on my shoulder, and I felt stronger, I felt his support of me through him doing that simple act.

“I will not be going back with you. I am never going back to Howling Moon if I have a choice about it. I told you both this in the text this morning. Sylvia is not my mother, and Jeremy is not my brother. You have all bullied and abused me for years so what would possess me to go back there with you. I will only be returning to accept Calvin’s rejection for our bond to be broken, and that will be it. I don’t trust you, Eric, at all, and I know what you guys will do to me if I ever were to come back. Just leave and don’t come back here for me. This is my pack, and I am joining it tonight in a full moon ceremony”. I tell them.

Jeremy jumps towards the gate and gives it a hard push with both of his hands wrapped around two of the iron posts, yelling “Quit being such a b***h and get your s**t. You are worthless and we both know that they don’t want you here. No one in their right mind would want a fat, stupid slut like you. You are embarrassing yourself and our pack. Just come on now, or it will be a lot worse for you Jade”.

Jade is gently pulled back from the gate by Dixon, and growling is heard coming from Alpha Andrew, Bryan, Mason, and Brax. I just stand there realizing that I am looking at my daughter and she was just threatened by those two idiots on the other side of the Gate. I step forward with my sons with thunderous growls coming from us. I will NOT allow them to speak to my daughter like that. I will rip their heads from their bodies. Alpha Andrew and his crew step back from the gate as we approach. The young Alpha Eric and the guy with him look terrified and they should be, they are about to meet the Goddess.
