“I don’t even know you. What are you talking about?” I asked her.

“My sister is Ashley, and she said you were rude to her and then made your brothers yell at her yesterday in the dining room. She didn’t even do anything to you, and you made your brothers threaten her. You better watch your back b***h, she is about to become the Luna of our pack and you don’t want to be on her bad side.” The girl said to me.

“Who are you, and what is your sister’s name again? I haven’t even been here at Stone Moon a few days and I don’t even know anyone here. I think you have the wrong person. I didn’t do anything to anyone”, I told her.

“No b***h, she pointed you out to me last night before you rode off with all the guys on your motorcycles. She pointed at you, and how could we miss you, at your size? I didn’t make a mistake, you did. Stay away from my sister, or me and you are going to have a problem, understand?”. The blonde walks away with the other two girls and turns back to look at me before she exits the cafeteria.

I suddenly needed to sit down. My hands are shaking and I don’t know what she is talking about. I feel nauseous and scared. I haven’t done anything to anyone. I don’t know that many people. What is she talking about? Then, suddenly, I remember the two she-wolves from the Elite class speaking to my brothers and then fussing at me for approaching my brother. The story that the girl just told is the opposite of what happened. I was the one who got treated rudely, and why was the soon-to-be Luna wanting to talk to my brothers if she was going to be Luna of the Stone Moon pack? If she was Asher’s mate, why was she hitting on other men? It didn’t even make sense. I don’t even know that girl’s name, but I will be trying to avoid her from now on. Apparently, it was a good thing that I missed this morning’s Elite training class. I will make sure to stay away from them when I see them.

“Hey Jade, how has your day been so far? Do you like your teachers and the classes? Nicole asked me as she and Jessica sat down at the table with me.

“Yea, I like my new school, but I guess some things are universal with all schools. I just had some girl go off on me and said I had her sister bullied like I would encourage someone else to be bullied,” I tell them.

“What, who was she?” Nicole asked.

I filled in on what had happened yesterday, with Nicole saying “What a freaking liar, we will figure out who they are when Bree and Dixon get here. Go ahead and eat. I see you are upset, but you are doing so well, and if you don’t eat now, you won’t be able to exercise after school. We will take care of this small problem. Don’t even worry about it, we will get this settled quick”.

I look down at my salad and even though I am no longer hungry, I do start eating, because I am through with letting others determine my happiness. I am taking it into my hands and taking control of my own life. I don’t need girls like that around me, and it isn’t a loss. I have a good circle of friends and those girls don’t factor into my success. I managed to get my appetite back when Dixon and Bree showed up at the table.

“How is your day going Jade?” Dixon asks me.

Nicole pipes up quickly and tells him about her new friends and the real story about what happened in the dining room yesterday.

“Was she about 5’9 and blonde with blue eyes?” Bree asks me.

“Yes, she was with two other girls and told me that I had better watch my back because her sister was about to be the new Luna and that if I didn’t want to have problems, to leave her sister alone. I never said anything to either one of them. I went to my brothers to meet them for lunch, and the two girls trying to talk to them started talking ugly to me about my weight. I never said anything mean to them, and my brothers told them to stay away from them because they could see their true character and that it took away from their beauty.” I told them

“Jade, you should have mentioned this yesterday when mom said to tell her if you got picked on,” Dixon said to me.

“Well, I had a big day yesterday and I forgot about it, plus I never knew anything else was going to come from it, and I wouldn’t want to get someone in trouble for 1 incident. They could have just been having a bad day, we all have them, and I don’t like getting others in trouble”, I tell Dixon.

“Yes, because YOU are a good person, that sounds like Ashley. She is in the Elite Warrior training group, and she ISN’T a good person. She sleeps around and tries to get a higher position in the pack. She has messed around with my brother, but I don’t think that he would be stupid enough to make that slut the Luna of this pack. Luna’s are supposed to nurture and protect the pack, to put the pack first. The only thing Ashley protects is herself, because SHE is all that she cares about. Just stay away from her and I will mention it to mom. Apparently, she needs to have another talk with Asher the next time he visits”, Dixon tells me.

“Dixon is right, we will tell mom, the girl that approached you here at school is Ashley’s younger sister Brittany and her little squad of future Bitches of America. Don’t listen to them. From now on, just wait upstairs for 5 minutes before coming down to the cafeteria, so we can all meet in the hallway and not give them another opportunity to get near you. I can assure you that none of those idiots are in an AP class, they make me look like a rocket scientist. They are just jealous morons and just being mean because that is who they are”, Bree tells me.

I relaxed a little and made a mental note to mention this to Brax so she can be on the lookout for any potential issues when I am training again with the elite warriors, just to make sure it isn’t a, she said/she said, with them not having someone there that can honestly vouch for what was said in the conversation. I am now glad that I mentioned it because that was going to cause me stress.

We all talk and laugh about things that happened in their classes and I feel a lot better about my incident in the lunchline. Brittany took her sister’s word for it, but she was given bad information and I won’t just condemn her for trying to support her sister. I would support my brothers in anything, so I get it now that I have Tyler and Tate in my life. I understand that bond.

I am also glad that I will be missing the elite training this weekend as I am going to the Dark Moon pack to visit my family. I am leaving right after school to go for my visit. The bonus is that my brothers told me that they would be training me over the weekend, along with their friend and soon to be Beta, Travis Young/ They said that Brax was really a great trainer, but that each pack trained differently, and I could pick up some tips and tricks for fighting and training with them as well. It will keep me exercising, and that is my focus right now, because I am sick of people using my weight against me. So maybe, since Ashley won’t see me for almost 2 weeks, she will let it go, and leave me alone. Maybe? Right?
