“He is leaving Tyler,” I tell him. “He wanted to check on me and make sure that I was alright”.

“You are not welcome here, you can go ahead and leave now”. Tyler tells Asher.

“I promise you, Jade, I am done with all girls from now on. You can believe me. I will wait on you until you are willing to believe that I am totally committed to just you baby. I will not cheat on you. We are mates and I will do whatever I need to for you to see that we are fated to be together”. I tell Jade.

“Right, well we are all waiting to see that Asher. You used to be a good man. I hope you can be again. You need to take this seriously, as I won’t hesitate to defend her. Against you or Eric. She gets hurt, and it will be a declaration of war with the Dark Moon pack. I can guarantee you that. If she wants to give you a chance that is fine, especially since you are true mates. But I saw you hurt her I saw her literally pass out in pain when that asshat cheated on her. It happened several times and I would hate for you to do the same thing to her. So, if you are even considering sleeping with another woman, please, do yourself a favor and reject her, it would be less painful for her”. Tyler tells Asher.

“I will not be sleeping with any other women. It will only be Jade for me for the rest of my life” Asher tells Tyler.

“I will take you at your word then. Actions speak louder than words to me though, so I will be watching you. I am two hours from her. Do not hurt her again. I will be there to pick up the pieces”. Tyler tells Asher.

“I will let myself out then. I just wanted to apologize and to make sure that you were ok. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep tonight worrying about you if I hadn’t been able to see you for myself”. Asher stops walking and turns around back to me. “Do you have my phone number? I would like for you to be able to reach me just in case. I would also like to start talking to you daily, in person or on the phone. That way we can learn about each other and build our bond”. Asher tells me.

“I will give it to her tonight, Asher. She can text you that it is her, so you can save her number in her phone. Don’t worry either Dixon or I will give it to her. Bree tells me looking over at me from the pool.

“Ok” Asher hesitates, “Please don’t forget Bree. I am really wanting to show Jade that I can change and be the man that she needs me to be”. Asher says to Bree.

“I got you, Asher. I want Jade to get to know you, the old Asher, the man you used to be before you went to Alpha Training. That man would be perfect for Jade, he was a lot better than you are currently. But I know that you can change Asher. I will also be giving you another chance to be the big brother that I used to look up to, I know he is still in there. I want to see him again too.” Bree tells him.

I nod to her, my throat closing up on me making it impossible to speak, and head to the front door.

“Please don’t hurt her again Asher, she had been through enough, a lifetime of pain and not being loved. You are her mate, and it is literally your job to love her wholly and completely. Don’t ever make her doubt you again. Just show her the man we all know is still in there and wait for her to accept you as her mate. I love her the same as I do Jade, I can’t stand by and watch you break her Asher”. I hear Dixon say in a low tone behind me as we cross the living room and head for the front door.

I nod at him too, as I cannot speak right now. I am angry for putting my own self in this situation because I was a selfish i***t. I should have known when literally my whole family and my best friends all loved and admired her. I should have met her to see if I could love and admire her too. She makes people feel loved and accepted. She cares for people. She will make an excellent Luna. I go to head out to the SUV, and I hear a throat clear behind me and I turn around.

“I just want to tell you to please don’t hurt Jade. We all care deeply for her. I cannot explain how or why we all feel so connected to her. I think as I am the Beta and she is the Luna, that is my connection to her, making her very special to me as it is my job to keep her safe. Your parents and siblings may be tied into her that way, but Braxton called it when she said that she was supposed to be the Luna. He nailed it, she was, and I hope that you show her the you that you used to be. Show her WHO you are. Put all the others behind you and show her every day how much she means to you, and how much you love her. I think that you will never recover from the loss if you don’t. She is the one for you and the very best person I know. She is honest and trustworthy. She is loving and kind. She is super smart, and I think that together you two could make the pack even better than it is now. She was made for you”. Mason tells me.

“It is my goal to show her that I love her, and only her, for the rest of my life. I intend to do just that Mason. If Jade will allow it, I would like to do something with you all tomorrow. Whatever it is that you guys end up doing, I am in. I just want to be around her. She calms me, I feel more relaxed around her. I love her and want to be with her all the time. I want our bond to grow so she can feel the same way for me. The sooner she feels it and accepts me, the better. I will wait forever for her if that is what it takes. She is my everything now and I cannot live without her. My wolf, Aries, loves her and did from the first time she smelled her scent. I should have listened to him and prevented this whole thing from happening. It is on me. I was an a*****e, and I caused this whole problem. I will fix it. Aries and I are all in on Jade being our Luna. So please whatever you guys decide to do tomorrow, let me know if Jade would be ok with me coming. Even if it is just for an hour. Or to come over here and swim, or ski, jet skis, whatever you guys decide to do. I want to do at least one of your activities with you”. I tell Mason.

“I will ask for you man, Jade is usually the sweetest, but you deliberately hurt her, and she is worried that you are going to be just like Calvin and reject her, so she is protecting her heart. I can’t blame her she had been through a lot. She was really upset and just wanted to go home when they found her in the parking lot and got her back here today. We are still trying to talk her into doing something fun and not packing up and going home. We already paid for the rental house for the week, no need to leave just yet. We can protect her when we are with her, but she is nervous after Kyle and Eric cornered her this morning”. Mason tells me.

“What did they do to her?” I ask Mason.

“Her halter top was torn, and she wasn’t really wanting to talk to us about it, but Tyler said that Jade told him that Eric said her that he was going to get her and force mark and mate her to produce strong heirs for his pack”. Mason told me.

“What!!!”, I roar into the night, “That son of a b***h, I will kill him” I yell out.
