Episode 55

“I will kill him with my bare hands, I swear to you” I yell at Mason.

Tyler comes out the front door and over to us.” Is there a problem?” he says.

“Yes, why didn’t you tell me what those assholes did to her this morning? They threatened my mate. I want them dead. She is my mate, and that bastard cannot have her, she is mine and I love her. I will not let him hurt her again”. I tell them.

“I will take care of Eric, after vacation. He will be dealt with. Jade will not be alone again. Three of us will be with her at all times. He will not catch us by surprise again. We will assume one or all of his group will be where we are going for the rest of the week when we leave the rental house. We will keep her safe. She is my number one priority”. Tyler tells me.

“I can help you take care of Eric. It would be my pleasure to do so, he cannot threaten my mate and get away with it. I want his b***d for causing her a moment’s pain”. I tell Tyler.

“You do remember that you, yourself, have caused her pain as well, right?” Tyler looks at me and says to me, as he narrow’s his eyes at me.

“I do, and if I could take it all back and listen to my wolf, Aries when he told me that Jade was my mate, I would do it in a heartbeat. Believe me, seeing her with pain in her eyes when I know I caused it with my selfish behavior, breaks my heart. I promise you I will not hurt her again. There is no other woman for me besides Jade. She is my one and only, and I only love her. I asked Mason and I will ask you as well. I want to spend time with Jade. Please, even if it is just for an hour tomorrow, I need to be around her, she calms me and my wolf. I am more relaxed around her. I feel wrong when I am not with her. I feel like I need her to even breathe right. I am not whole if I am not with her. I am a changed man. I immediately took Ashley back and told her no more, that we are through, that I didn’t want her around me again. Now, I didn’t Alpha command her, but if she ever approaches me again, I will. I don’t want anyone but Jade. I would just like the opportunity to be with her, and let our bond grow and strengthen. I want Jade with me all the time. Like if she isn’t near me, that I am weaker. Now that I have looked into her eyes, I am incomplete without her in my arms. So, whatever you decide to do tomorrow, I would like to be included in it, if only for an hour, if Jade is ok with it”. I tell them.

“I will let you know tomorrow after we make plans. I will have Bree tell you where to meet us and what we plan on doing for the day. You may have to bring your own food, as Jade makes the food, and I may not give her a heads up until we get to where we are going, so she can’t back out of it and just stay here. I think it would be better to get her around you too. The bond will work in your favor in that area. Just know this. She gets hurt by you again, and I will make sure that she comes to live at my pack, and you won’t get to see her ever again. You will then be further down the food chain in my view than Eric is at that point, and you know how I feel about Eric right now. He literally means s**t to me right now. She is giving you one more chance, and I would hope you decide to be serious about it and make her your priority. I love her and don’t want to see her hurt again. I just came into her life, and I will not willingly step back for her to become the other woman, or to be cheated on. Jade is supposed to be your Luna, and I want her to be treated like the jewel that she is. I don’t ever want her to feel the physical pain that she did when Calvin cheated on her regularly. I won’t stand by and watch it a second time. This is your one and only chance and I suggest you make it your best shot. Because you will not be granted another chance with her if I have ANYTHING to say about it. I will find a good man that will love and protect her for the rest of her life, with someone from my pack, there are a lot of men who have lost their true mate and would love to have someone as beautiful and special as she is. That is not a threat, it is a promise. She is a beautiful, caring woman that any man would be glad to have as a chosen mate, and I will see that it happens if that is what she wishes. She deserves to be happy, and I will do what I need to, to make sure that she is loved and taken care of, for the rest of her life”. Tyler tells me, giving me a hard look to let me know how serious he is with what he has said.

“I won’t betray her trust again. I promise you that. I love her and will not do anything to hurt her again. I swear to you. I don’t want to lose her. She means the world to me. I am serious about changing, I immediately took Ashley back because I needed to show Jade that it is ONLY her for me, for the rest of my days. I will never have anything else to do with Ashley, ever again. I will love and protect Jade, for the rest of our lives”. I tell Tyler.

“I will let you know what we are doing in the morning. See you tomorrow”. Tyler tells me.

I get into my SUV and leave. I will figure out how to get Jade to believe me and to lower her wall and love me too. No matter how long it takes, I will make sure that Jade believes me when I say that from now on it is only her for me in this lifetime.

I need to get back to my hotel and get some rest for tomorrow. I don’t know how early we are getting out and I don’t want to miss it if they are heading out early on the boat tomorrow. As I head into my hotel room, I notice that the lights are all on and I had left them off. I walk into the room and see Ashley in my bed with her clothes off waiting for me.

“Hey baby, where have you been? I have been waiting hours for you”. Ashley tells me.

“What are you doing here? I took you back to the pack and we are not together anymore. How did you get into my room anyway?” I asked her.

“The clerk saw me with you when we checked in and knew we were together, so I told him that you had misplaced your room card and we needed another one,” Ashley tells me.

“I want you out of my room right now. We are nothing to each other anymore. I have found me mate, and I don’t want to be around you again. Don’t make me use my Alpha Command on you Ashley. Just get dressed and get out, right now. If you come around me again, I will banish you from Stone Moon”. I tell Ashley.

“You don’t mean that. You told me that I would be your Luna, that you loved me. You promised me that I would be your Luna. What the hell Asher? You said that I would be your chosen mate”. Ashley says to me.

“I never told you that I loved you. I did say that I would let you be my chosen mate if I didn’t find my mate, but I found her. I want HER, not you. So, pack up whatever your brought with you and leave, now. I want you gone in the next three minutes. You would be a terrible Luna, you only care about yourself. You are a liar and a b***h to most people. You would drag the pack down and the whole pack would suffer for it. Don’t make this harder on yourself. Get out of my room right now and go back to the pack. We are not together and will never be together ever again. I love someone else, and I want to be with them, not you. Leave the keycard you got on the dresser before you leave”. I tell Ashley.

Tears fill her eyes as she gets up and gets dressed. “You will be sorry for this, and I will get you back, you always come back to me”. Ashley tells me as she exits my room.

“I will NOT be with you again. I have found my mate and she is my everything and I will never be with you again. If you cause me or my mate trouble in the future, I will not hesitate to banish you and your whole family from Stone Moon. Do not think that I won’t, and after seeing how you all are, rotten to your very souls, I don’t think any of you would be missed”. I tell Ashley.

She growls lowly at me, throws the key card towards the dresser, and turns and stomps from the hotel room.

I believe that things are going to get worse before they get better with her comment. I am glad that she doesn’t know who my mate is yet. Or so I thought.
