A room full of mirrors.

Not his idea of a destination for a wonderful cruise, but if this what it took to get him away from the crazy Witch his selfishness and greed for more power had introduced him to, then you could bet your a*s that Lucius Smith would take it.

He was naked.

His face was a bloody mess, an eye was missing, and gods, his hair… his precious hair had all been shaved off.

The f*****g b***h!

Lucius took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, he really needed to be clear-headed so he could come up with a way to escape her clutches.

All hope was not lost yet?

All hope is lost.

Wait, he hadn’t said that?

But we did. We said that, Lucius. All hope is lost. There is no going back from this.

“Who are you?”

“Who do you think, love? I did warn you that you couldn’t escape me, couldn’t escape my wrath. You passed out, and for a while you may have won, oh but now I am one with your conscience, so I wonder how that’s going to go for you.” Her voice was distorted, but he knew without a doubt that she had found him.

The Dark Witch had found him.

He caught the shape of a weird figure hiding in the shadows, and his heart rate picked up speed.

It was suddenly like he was in a horror movie, one that he’d do absolutely to get out of.

The figure stepped forward, revealing the woman he had been trying to escape for so long,

The Dark Witch.

“Just kill me already, Lacy… KILL ME!” He yelled angrily, charging right towards her, his d**k dangling left and right like he was waving some kind of peace flag, only this man meant business… he wanted to hurt, or wanted to be hurt, Lacy wasn’t exactly sure which.

Unfortunately for the poor Alpha Werewolf, he collided so hard into a mirror, right before he could make contact with her, and he fell… hard, a little dizzy from the powerful impact.

“Oh, no, no, no, Lucius. You don’t get to take the easy way out,” The Dark Witch spat, her voice cold and devoid of any emotion.

She looked at the Werewolf with sheer disdain, wondering how she ever thought she loved this man.

He was weak, always seeking the easy way out instead of facing the consequences of his actions, she couldn’t believe she had been so blind to that.

But that was just the kind of s**t love pulled, right?

Turning you blind to your significant other’s default?

Well now you could bet your a*s that her eyes were wide open.

“You think death will absolve you of all your sins? Think you deserve such mercy?” She asked contritely, “Well, that’s not how it works at all, Lucius. You’ll still have to face judgment for what you’ve done. And while people say s**t like one gets what they deserve in the afterlife, I cannot be too sure that you will pay for your crimes. And so this, right here, is your hell on earth love.” Lacy said, her tone laced with venom.

Lucius looked at her, his eyes filled with hatred as he spat out b***d, groaning in pain as he struggled to his feet, “You’re one to talk, Lacy. You go on and on about how badly I treated you, and then when you get your powers, what do you do? You just killed people, Lace… so stop acting like the f*****g righteous saint here.” He spat out.

Lacy’s lips curved into a smile, “I never said I was a saint, honey… I don’t pretend to be anything other than what I am, the Dark Witch. You’re one to talk about pretending to be righteous, Luc… because we both know that you act like a hero while secretly indulging in your own wickedness.” She flicked a hand, “Let’s take a look, shall we?”

At first Lucius was confused, wondering what she was talking about, but then his reflections on the mirror began to change, starting from his fight with Alexia, how he had killed her, stomping on her heart… the joy on his face as he tossed her into the fireplace and set it to full blast, the satisfaction in his eyes as she caught fire, burning until there was nothing left but ashes.

The scene changed, going fast now, showing a bunch of she wolves he had raped, children he had killed for pleasure in a secret gambling arcade… wolves he had brutally tortured just for the fun of it, how he had killed Lacy over and over…

It was all being displayed.

“No, no… make it stop… f*****g MAKE IT STOP, LACY!” He begged, but the scenes kept rolling, how his sick fantasies had made him set his sights on his younger sister, how he had raped her to get rid of that urge, how he had been so scared of their parents’ reaction that he had murdered her in cold b***d, and then made it look like Reed’s family had done it…

“You’re worser than I thought.” Lacy spat out the words.

The old her would have been sick to her stomach, probably throwing up by now, but the new her was quickly learning not to trust any man.

She had found out that that way she was never disappointed.

Lucius laughed bitterly, surprisingly still full of s**t and pride, even though his darkest secrets had just been exposed. “You’re delusional, Witch. What do you think you can do with all of this? You plan on killing me anyway, so what the f**k does it matter? Just get it over and done with.” He spat out some more b***d, “I should have seen you for who you really were, seen that underneath all your angelic light, you were just a pretender, a naïve b***h who always tried to act innocent, but who had always been consumed by darkness, always seeking more power, more control.”

Lacy shrugged nonchalantly, “Maybe I am, but at least I didn’t pretend to be something I was not. I was genuinely not in the know about my powers, but I have come to discover who I am now, and you know what? I embrace my darkness. I revel in it. It’s what gives me power. And soon, I’ll have enough power to destroy anyone who stands in my way. Anyone who stands in the way of the new world I plan on establishing.” Her dark red eyes glowed in excitement as she lifted her chin haughtily to stare at him.

Lucius looked at her with a mix of fear and hatred. “You’re a monster, Lacy. A monster who needs to be stopped.”

The Dark Witch’s smile widened, “Oh, Lucius. You’ve always been a fool. You can’t stop me? No one can. I’m too powerful, too strong. I killed off your council, who the f**k is going to get in my way now? What I plan to bring to the realms is new. It’s good.” She was confident, “The people are going to love it, and I am going to have their support. And I have my darling mate to help me get through any hurdle that may come my way. At this point, I am f*****g unstoppable.” With that, Lacy turned around and walked away, leaving Lucius to wonder what was going on as one by one, the mirrors began to disappear and all that was left was an echo of Lacy’s voice humming the chorus of Taylor Swift’s Bad B***d.

“FINISH ME NOW, LACY!!!!! FINISH ME NOW!” The Alpha Werewolf sank to his knees in despair as the darkness began to appear.

“Oh, I will.” The Dark Witch’s echoey voice assured him, “You know, I thought of the perfect way to finish you off, and I realised that I never had to kill you? Your tainted b***d is too far gone to come anyway near my hands,”

“ALL BARK AND NO BITE! I always knew you were never going to do it.” Lucius cackled in amusement, holding his aching ribs, “You never had it in you? As a matter of fact, let’s just say that I never even expected that you’d get this far. You’re still in love with me, and given your amazing power, I just might overlook everything you’ve done to me and take you back. I can be magnanimous like that. So, what do you say?” He smirked, trying so hard and finally succeeding to stand on his feet.

“What do I say?” Lacy repeated the question, scoffing in amusement, “I say you’re delusional, you fucker.” She spat at him, her eyes glowing an even brighter red. “You see the memories I showed you? Well, they just so happened to be playing in real time. Your entire pack has seen it, the see you for who you really are now, and boy, are they livid! They are the ones who will be finishing you off.” She told him delightedly.

“No! No! No, no, no! Lacy we can talk about it… Lacy please don’t—” The rest of his words faded into a scream as a portal opened out of nowhere and sucked him in, a giant mirror appearing in the dark space.

Lacy watched, her eyes c****d in interest as the portal opened up in front of the Blue Valley Packhouse, dropping him right in front of the angry mob waiting for him outside, wielding silver daggers and chains and weapons.

“I CAN EXPLAIN!” The Alpha Werewolf yelled trying to calm them down, “SHES FRAMING ME UP, I DID NONE OF THE THINGS SHE’S ACCUSING ME OFF, SHE’S A WITCH, SHE’S TOYING WITH YOUR MINDS!!”

But it was already too late.

The mob pounced on him, extracting their own pound of flesh, getting their own revenge on behalf of all the people he had hurt even as they mourned their golden Princess his sister, and the evil that had been committed against her.

Lacy flicked a hand, and the mirror went off, the dark energy within her finally settling as it finally hit her that she and everyone else had been avenged.

She thought she would feel ashamed at how cruel she had been, but she only felt light, relieved.

Death by the people.

That had been the greatest revenge of all.

Now, she needed to go and find her darling sweet mate.
