Sophia's Revenge -
Sophia’s Revenge – Chapter 107
Xanders POV
We were waiting to hear from Trevor so that we could do our counter-strike, but we heard nothing for what felt like forever. Finally, our contact here helping was able to get through to him. He said that King Jag’s witches had put a block up so that no power could be used but theirs. He said he had to move to a new location, and he didn’t know what was going on because of that.
I told them to open the portal up so that we could get there as fast as possible. He opened the portal up, and we all stepped in one by one and he transported us back to our pack. We were too far from where they were supposed to meet. I quickly shifted and took off into the woods with wolves following behind me as soon as they were here.
We charged forward and found them. He had an entire army with him, and they were all standing behind them. I saw Kane lying on the ground. Sophia was walking away with King Jag.
“LET MY MATE GO!” I roared out.
“How the hell are you here?” King Jag asked as he turned around and saw all of us.
“Do you really think you can take my mate that easily? If so, you are a fool.”
“It looks like I already have her,” he said as he looked at Waylon, who waved his hands.
I looked back at Trevor to see what was going on, but before he could answer, a member of the witch’s council stepped up.
“Waylon, we have had our suspicions for a while now. I have put a block on your power. You can’t transport them.”
You could see him getting angry. His face was getting flushed, and he rushed towards us, but the same witch that was stopping him before shot a light at him, and he was down on the ground and couldn’t move.
King Jag grabbed Sophia by the neck and released his claws as he spun her to look at us.
“Let her go!” I yelled.
“If I can’t have her, neither can you,” he said as his claws started to pierce her skin.
I shifted back into Jax and lunged at them. I could see Sophia’s eyes start to glow, and I knew Stella was taking over. Before I could get to them, he went flying back and landed on his a*s. Sophia came running over to me. I took a protective step in front of her. Kane had finally gotten up and made his way to us.
“Eric, are you betraying me?”
“My name is Kane, and I was never yours, to begin with. You knew what you were doing when you sent me here. Now it is going to backfire on you.”
A rush of power flowed out of Sophia, and King Jag hit the ground again. Roots grew out of the ground and wrapped around him, holding him in place.
“Let me go, you stupid bitch.”
“NO! I told you already you couldn’t have me. I am my own person and choose who I am with, and I will never choose you.” Stella growled out.
Before she could take another step, all of King Jags’ wolves shifted and ran towards us. We were officially under attack. We all did the same and ran toward them. We were outnumbered by them, but I knew we had strength behind us. I ran towards the first wolf I could and took him down with ease. This was Jax’s element. He was a fighter. I continued to take each wolf down with ease. I looked back to see where Sophia was, and she had also shifted and was fighting with a lone wolf, but was taking them down easily. I had two wolves come at me at once. One jumped over me and the other stood in front of me, growling and snapping their jaws at me.
I lunged at the wolf in front of me, and the one behind me jumped on my back. I fell and rolled over him. I had my stomach bared with him, pinning me down. The other wolf slowly walked up to me, licking his lips like I was a meal. I was trying everything I had to kick this wolf off me and was failing. The other wolf was quickly approaching and came up to me and sank his teeth into my neck, but before he could sink them in, he went flying off me. I looked up to see Kane and plowed into him.
This distracted the wolf on top of me and I was able to kick him off and jump on him and quickly ripped his throat out, while Kane took care of the other one and we continued killing more wolves. I looked around for Sophia and saw that she was struggling with King Jag. He had somehow gotten free and was trying to take Sophia with him. I mind-linked Kane, “Sophia needs help.”
We both took off after her, but before we could get there, her green glow got brighter and her wolf size grew to two sizes of King Jags. She brought her paw down and pinned him down. Both Kane and I ran to her before she killed him. We would do that for her. I don’t want her to live with that.
I jumped on him and ripped his throat out without a second thought. The second she realized he was dead, she shrunk back down to her normal size. The witches were still fighting with each other, shooting things back and forth. Sophia ran to the middle of it and shifted back to her human form.
“STOP! This is over.” She yelled as she brought her hands out in front of her.
“Sophia, get out of the way,” one of the witch councilmen yelled.
She turned towards the witches that were with King Jag and shot a green light out of her hands toward them. The lights they were shooting out of them were suspended in midair.
“Please, contain them. I have their magic suspended. The witch’s council rushed to all of them and placed cuffs around them and placed something around them to keep them there.”
Kane and I rushed to her side as soon as she let her light down. King Jags wolves were still standing there. They seemed to be a little lost.
“SHIFT BACK!” I commanded them.
They all shifted back, not able to ignore an Alpha command.
Kane, Sophia, and I stood there watching all of them shift back. Everyone on our side had circled around them so they couldn’t escape. One person stood out from all of them. Clarissa. I knew she was helping him, but I didn’t expect to see her here.
“I want all of them in the cells.”
They started to pull them in different directions, trying to separate them to make it easier to get them to the cells. Clarissa took one look at us and ran towards us, but Sophia put a stop to her, shooting a green light at her and making her stop where she was. More roots came out of the ground and wrapped up her legs so she couldn’t move.
“Wait, you can’t do this to me.”
“Why not?” Asked Sophia.
“Because I am pregnant.”
“That isn’t our problem.”
“It’s Kane’s baby.”
“You’re a lying bitch.” Yelled Kane.
“I might be a b***h, but I am not lying. We slept together a lot and never used protection.”
“Take her to the hospital, and I want her guarded at all times,” I told them.
Sophia didn’t say a word to either of us. She turned and walked over to anyone that was hurt and started to heal them. Brooke was with her, helping her as well. They went from each person checking for injuries and would heal even the smallest scratch.
Once all of our people were healed, Sophia went to any injured from King Jag’s side and started working on them. I could see her power draining and we needed to stop her. She couldn’t keep doing this.
“Sophia, baby, you need to stop. You are draining yourself.”
“I need to help these people. If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t have been hurt.”
She wasn’t going to listen to me. She kept moving from one person to another, along with Brooke. I could see her mate trying to stop her as well. Sophia came to someone who had some pretty extensive injuries. I could see her close her eyes and a green glow came from her hands. This wolf’s injuries were slowly healing, and you could see that it was taking everything in her to fix him. I watched as his broken bones snapped back into place and his open wounds closed back up together. Her green glow was slowly getting dimmer and dimmer, and I could see that she was at her max and was about to pass out.
I rushed to her, but it was too late. She collapsed as the wolf she was healing was completely healed. He jumped up before I could get to her and locked his jaws on her neck.
