Sophia’s Revenge – Chapter 35

Stella’s POV

It was Friday and the trial was set to start in one hour. Sophia refused breakfast, but I can’t blame her even if I was hungry. She had been having nightmares about today and our mates haven’t left our side. They promised they wouldn’t, and they held true to that. I know she was worried about what they would think of her once they knew everything. I, however, wasn’t worried. We had an hour before we had to be down there. The council agreed to a closed trial which made my mates feel better about things.

“Girl, we need to talk.”

“Stella, I know, and I can’t right now. I can’t face any of them.”

“You don’t have to. I am going to do it for you.”

“I don’t understand how you could, you weren’t there.”

“I am always there; you just didn’t know it.”

“The council knows a lot about what happened already. They have spoken with Doc and pack members from your old pack. They have also spoken with our mates and seen your medical records. We just have to hear from Luna Ann, Blaine and Spencer. After they are done speaking, I will tell our story. That’s it.”

” Would you do that for me?”

“I would do anything for you. I can either put a block up so you don’t know what’s going on or you can watch from the back of your mind.”

“I need to watch. I need to know what they are going to lie about.”

“OK, let’s get ready and go reassure our boys that we are ok, and we can do this.”

I walked downstairs with both my mates and each one was holding one of my hands. This was becoming a common thing, but we loved the feel of it.

I released both of their hands and took a big breath and opened the doors. I quickly scanned the room. It was set up to have the council sitting on one side and whoever was speaking on the other side. Behind the council was everyone that was due to speak today. I spotted Luna Ann, and she was looking pretty bad. Next to her was Blaine and then Spencer. They both looked like they had the beating of a lifetime and all three were filthy. Then there was their Gamma Leo. He didn’t look bad, but he looked extremely sad.

We walked in and sat on the opposite side as all of them. There were four council members. Two males and two females. The leader stood up and said “Let’s begin, we are here today to discuss the accusations against the ranked members of the Yellow Moon Pack. These have been brought to our attention by Alpha Xander and Beta Kane. I would like everyone to be respectable and have no interruptions while someone is speaking. First up is Luna Ann. Please come around and have a seat.”

She got up and that’s when I noticed that she was shackled at the wrist and had a guard who kept his hand on her arm the entire time until she sat down and then he just stood behind her so she couldn’t go anywhere.

“Luna Anne, can you please tell us how Sophia came to live in the pack house and her treatment while she was there.”

“Of course, she was a child when she was brought to the pack house. I believe ten years old. She had killed her parents. It was an awful sight. She tried to lie about it and say they were attacked but there was no evidence of anyone else there. Our Beta took her to the cells until we could determine how much of a danger she was. My husband, the Alpha, decided that if we fed her wolfsbane it would keep her calm and she wouldn’t be a threat. She was given food, a room, and anything she desired. She did nothing but lie and hurt the other pack members. We thought that by punishing her she would straighten out, but it didn’t help. She had no chores and was treated better than anyone in the house. Those so-called injuries she received were all self-inflicted. When this is over, I want everyone involved tried for my husband’s death and also the beta and his daughter.”

She had a smug look on her face like she was going to get away with this. Xander and Kane had been holding my hand the entire time and thought that she would get away with it. I had news for that b***h. She was going to die today, and, by my hands, she would not get away with this.

“Luna Ann, we investigated that murder and while there was no evidence of who attacked them, we did ask you about the child and you and the Alpha told us she was gone. Are you now telling me that you had her this entire time? We also would like to know what type of punishments you and your husband gave her.”

“Um I I I am not sure about that. You dealt with my husband. As for her punishments it would be extra chores or grounded from the television.”

“We did but you were present for every meeting. We tried to search for her, but you and the Alpha were insistent that your pack would handle it. Are you telling me that you had her the entire time, or you found her and didn’t notify us?”

“I’m really not sure. I don’t remember.” You could tell she was lying and didn’t know how to cover her tracks.

“That’s enough for now. Sophia, we would like you to recount your interactions with Luna Ann.” said a council member.

“I would actually like to wait until everyone has spoken. You will understand why when I speak.”

“I don’t see a problem with that,” said a council woman.

“Future Beta Spencer, please come forward.”

He was also shackled like Luna Ann, but he also had some around his ankles and a guard on each side.

“Spencer, you are accused of kidnapping Sophia, along with torture and rape. She was found by Alpha Xander and Beta Kane. Can you please explain what happened?”

“Of course, future Alpha Blaine and I had been out walking the boarders between our packs when Sophia walked up to us. She came over and pushed herself up on Alpha Blaine and tried to k**s him. She started to beg us to take her back. She wanted us to tie her up and take her at the same time. We knew she always tried to sleep with either of us to gain rank within the pack. It had never worked before as we were always in the pack house. But this time we didn’t have the watchful eye of our parents to make sure we stayed away. I am not going to lie, she is beautiful and, well, l**t got the better of us. We took her back to my parents’ cabin and anything we did to her she asked us too. She said she liked the pain with the pleasure. She is just upset that she got caught by her mates and is trying to blame us for it.”

That earned a growl from both of my mates. I could see that their wolves were close to the surface. I placed a hand on each of their legs and gave them a gentle squeeze to let them know that I was OK.

“Spencer, do you have anything else you want to say?”

“Yes, when this is over with, I want that b***h prosecuted for everything she has done. My dad and sister are dead because of her and her lies.”

“Thank you, Spencer. You may go back to your seat.”

“Future Alpha Blaine can you please come up.”

He was the same as Spencer, shackled at the wrist and ankles and had a guard on each side of him. He wouldn’t look at anyone. Even after he sat down, he continued to look down. Was he feeling remorse for what happened? Not that it would change the outcome.

“Future Alpha Blaine, you are charged with multiple accounts of rape, kidnapping, and torture. Can you please tell us your account of things?”

“Yes, everything that Spencer said was true. I don’t have anything to add to that part of it. But for the other accusation of rape, it should be her on trial. She has once again lied and hurt an omega and so she was sent up to my father’s office for punishment. My father had told me that since I would be taking over the pack I would need to start stepping in and handing out punishments so people would respect me and know that I don’t put up with people treating each other badly. I followed him into his office, and she was sitting on the couch like nothing was wrong. My dad told her what she was accused of from the omega and gave her a chance to tell the truth to avoid punishment. Like normal, she lied and said it didn’t happen and the omega was lying, but we had witnesses to back up the omega’s story. My father said that I was in charge of her punishment, and he left the room. I thought maybe she could learn a lesson if she received an extra lashing, so she received eleven instead of ten. When I was done, she stripped out of her clothes and jumped on me. She managed to tackle me to the ground, grinding herself on me. She was begging me to f**k her. I kept telling her no, she wasn’t my mate. I didn’t want it. She didn’t care though. She hit me in the face and told me if I didn’t sleep with her, she would tell everyone I raped her and that she would give herself injuries to make it look true. I was so afraid of being accused of rape like I am now that I ended up sleeping with her. She should be the one that is shackled. She has turned my whole pack upside down and we are the ones being treated like we did something wrong.”

“Thank you, future Alpha Blaine, please take your seat. I would like to take a ten-minute break and then we will hear from Sophia.”

I got up and ran to the bathroom. The things they were saying were making me sick. I emptied the contents of my stomach and had both of my mates right behind me. They were holding my hair and rubbing circles on my back. When I was finished, I walked to the sink to clean up. I had to stay strong for Sophia, no matter how hard it was. I wasn’t going to just tell them; I was going to show them. Nobody knew this but I already had powers. They were a part of me, I have always been able to do this. I can project images like a TV.

We went back into the conference room and took our seats, waiting for everyone else to enter.
