Sophia’s Revenge – Chapter 61

Sophia’s POV

I quickly fell asleep after our little sexcapade. Kane had wrapped his arms around me, and he quickly fell asleep too. Xander had to go to his office before our meeting. When I woke up Kane was in the shower, so I got up and got in with him.

I missed training today and I hated it. I didn’t want to miss any sessions. I needed to get stronger.

“Stella, we can’t miss training again.” I linked my wolf.

“I’m not the one who needs it, you are.”

“Thanks for the vote of confidence.”

“Welcome!” She said laughing.

I stepped into the shower with Kane. He was of course singing loudly. I didn’t know any of the songs he sang but it was always country. I swear if this man wasn’t a werewolf, he would be a cowboy. Although he would look good in a pair of tight pants, I thought.

“Hey baby girl, did I wake you again?” He asked me.

“No, I just woke up and heard you in here and I need to wash from earlier and so I thought I would join you.”

He leaned in and gave me a k**s full of l**t. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I ran my hands up his chest and pushed him back.

“We don’t have time. We have that meeting soon.” I told him.

‘You’re no fun, we could be late.” He said as he trailed kissed down my neck to his mark. I could stop it and let out a m**n.

“See baby girl, lets late and I can make you m**n some more.”

“No let’s get washed and get out. I want to know more about who is after me.”

“Fine.” He said and let out a big sigh.

He grabbed my soap and put some in his hand and started to wash my body. He took extra care of certain spots of my body. He then grabbed my shampoo and washed my hair and put conditioner in it.

“I can wash myself you know.” I told him after he was done.

“I know, but I like taking care of you.”

“Well let me take care of you now.”

He just smiled at me as I grabbed his soap and washed his body. I washed his hair next. Once he was all clean, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and wrapped my hair up in one. Then headed to the bedroom.

When I got into the bedroom I was hit with the most sickening sweet smell. I headed to our closet and that is when I noticed the envelope on our bed with my name on it. I walked over and picked it up and the smell got worse.

I grabbed the envelope and headed back into the bathroom to see if Kane knew what was going on. When I got into the bathroom he was just drying off.

“Kane, did someone come in our room while we were in the shower?” I asked him.

“No baby girl, why do you ask?”

“Because it smells weird in the bedroom, and I found this envelope on our bed.”

His eyes got huge and he ran out into our bedroom and started smelling.

“Damn it, how are they doing this!” He yelled out.

“What are you talking about?” I asked him.

“It’s a witch probably the same one from last night. Have you read the note?”

“No not yet.”

“Well open it up and let’s see what it says.”

Sophia,

I see our first attempt to get rid of you failed. Our original plan to kill you has been changed. We learned what you are. We’ve been working with someone that you belong to. You can either turn yourself over to us or we will take you and give you to him. If we have to take you, there will be bloodshed. Wouldn’t want anything to happen to your other mate, would you?

Remember Xander doesn’t belong to you, and we will take him away from you. We will take our rightful place beside him. You don’t deserve him.

Meet us at the lake at midnight on Friday.

I don’t know who was writing me these letters, but I needed to find out. I wasn’t going to let anything happen to either one of them.

“Are you ok?” Kane asked me.

“I’m fine. I am just tired of this and am ready to truly be free and not having some physco after me.”

“I know baby girl and we are going to get them; I promise.”

“I know you won’t.”

“Let’s get dressed and take this down to Xander and everyone else at the meeting.”

I nodded my head and went to the closet with Kane following me. We both quickly got dressed. I went back to the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth and went back out and slipped some shoes on. I was dressed for comfort today with some leggings and a t-shirt.

Kane took my hand, and we headed downstairs to Xanders office. When we got there, he was the only one in there. We were a little early still.

“You two are early.”

Kane walked over and threw the letter down on his desk so he could look at it.

“What is this?” He asked.

“Sophia and I got in the shower and when she got out someone had been in the room and left this on our bed.”

He opened it up and you could see that he was instantly pissed.

“Nobody will touch you.” Growled Xander.

“It had to have been the same witch as last night. Our room reeked of the same scent.” Kane said.

“How did you not notice someone in our room?” He growled out.

“We were in the shower together and all I could smell was Sophia until we went out into our room.”

Someone started knocking on the office door and Xander yelled at them to come in.

“Hello everyone.” Luna Caroline said as she walked in with Alpha Ty and Trevor and Emily.

“Son, have you guys found something new?”

“Yes, let’s sit at the table and Kane can explain what happened last night.”

We all walked over to the table, and I went to sit in my own chair, but Xander pulled me onto his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head in my neck inhaling my scent. I could feel him calm down some.

“To put it short, we ran into a witch last night who said to either hand over Sophia or they will forcefully take her and then this morning when Sophia and were in the shower together another witch was in the room and left this letter for her.”

I was turning red from him mentioning that we were in the shower together.

Everyone took turns reading the letter and after Luna Caroline finished reading it, she slammed her hands down on the table and stood up.

“Nobody will hurt a hair on your head Sophia!” Luna Caroline announced to all of us.

“Mom, calm down we all agree.” Xander said with a smile on his face about his mom’s protectiveness over her.

“Any thoughts on who is behind this son?” Asked Alpha Ty.

“We know that Jules and her pack are behind this but from the letter you got I am guessing someone else is behind them and that we may possibly have two packs working together against us. Why don’t we sit down, and we can all discuss this and come up with a plan.” Xander said.

“Anyone got any ideas?” Xander asked.

“What if we just attacked them. We know where they will be.” Luna Caroline asked.

“I don’t know if that will work. They have witches with them. They will just disappear.” Trevor explained.

“Why don’t we just ignore them,” Alpha Ty said.

“No, they want me, and I will not let the pack put themselves in danger because of me. I will go meet them. I said.

“Absolutely not,” Growled Xander and Kane.

“Shut it and listen to me. If they have witches helping, why can’t we? We have Trevor here.”

“Baby girl I don’t want you out there at all. It’s not happening.”

“It is. You can all be with me; Trevor can put a masking spell on you so they can’t see you and you can surround me. I don’t know what other spells he could use but maybe we should try.”

“I can defiantly help. I can do the masking spell for everyone that is there. I can also do a rooted spell on Sophia.”

“What is a rooted spell?” Alpha Ty asked but we were all wondering.

“That is where Sophia will be rooted to wherever she is at. She won’t be able to move from her spot and nobody will be able to move her. I can give her about a four-foot circle around her that she can’t leave.” Trevor said.

“Let’s do it. Can we please practice before hand?” I asked excitedly.

“Of course, we can go do it now.”

We all got up and went outside to see how this would work. My boys both came up to me, one on each side. They both grabbed my hand as we left the room.

“Beautiful, I don’t like this.” Xander said.

“You don’t have to like this. I am not putting anyone else at risk.”

Once outside Trevor stepped up to us and explained the spell he would use.

“I will place the spell on you, and you won’t even know I’ve done it. We need to figure out a way to let you know it’s been done. Once it’s in place you will not be able to move out of that area until I release you. If you’re ready, I will put one up now.”

I just nodded at him. He stepped up to me and started to speak in another language and moved his hands around. He did this for a full 30 seconds and then looked up and said, “Ok walk over to that tree.”

I took about two steps before I hit an invisible force and couldn’t go any further.

“Someone try to go to her and see if you can get her out.” Trevor said.

Kane stepped up and grabbed my hand and tried to walk me out and he could keep walking but again I hit the same invisible force and couldn’t go further.

“See this can work but let me make sure Stella and I can use our powers.”

I closed my eyes and called Stella forward. I knew when I opened them, they were glowing. We focused on growing the grass around us. It shot up about a foot high.

“Girl, we can always use our powers I not worried.” Stella mind linked me.

“I think this might work. Maybe we can work on this again tomorrow. Then it’s Friday.” I said excitedly.

“Kane, we need to meet with Luke and the head warriors we need to take some precautions here. I don’t want to leave the house unguarded.”

We all went our separate ways. I told the boys I needed to talk with Avery about something. They both had to walk me to her room. I kissed them both goodbye and told them to go have their meeting and I would see them for dinner.

“Avery, I need a favor.”

“Anything girl, what’s up?”

“I want to get a tattoo and I don’t want anyone to know. Also, they are going to have to come here and hide from the boys. I want to surprise them on our ceremony day.”

“Yes! We have someone in the pack who does them. He is great and I can sneak him into my room but we’re going to have to clue my mom in so she can help us. Maybe I will get one too!”

“Please do! We can do this together!”

She hugged me, all excited, and pulled me all the way into her room so we could visit.
