His eyes widened and he smiled turning around to look at her, he wanted to be sure that she really was holding him and he was not imagining things that weren't there.

"No, I don't think that I want to eat breakfast"

He was hurt as he though that she only held him because she wanted to talk about her breakfast and nothing else.

Feeling as if his neck was being held in a stiffness, he nodded his head and walked out of the room, she knows she had to chase after him. He was feeling bad thinking that perhaps all of this was his fault and he had lost her trust. It wasn't really about the trust, he hasn't really lost it.

"Shawn" She called out to him as her feet moved to the door, halting hoping this was not another at to tell him that she was alright and he didn't need to bother. He already saw it in her eyes that she was not alright and she needed his help, he just knew how. He hoped that she was not in some sort of trouble but then again, he knew the sort of woman that he got married to, she was not the person to cause trouble, people tend to be the ones who are always pushing it and not the other way around. "What is it?"

She was torn and distressed from having to bear it all in her heart, right there she realized that she had made a mistake by calling her boss, the best place for her to be right at the moment was her workplace. That will help her clear her head and thoughts and she will stop feeling this way.

"I think I will be heading over to work and will be working overtime tidy, don't wait up

For me" she was trying to sound firm yet Shawn saw right through her, he knew that if she left these four, she would it he able to focus on any other thing, and her boss was going to reprimand her for it. She already took the day off, she should rest and stay with him, though he had his own plans they would do other things that would distract her and she might even end up talking to him about what was causing her great distress. He wondered how she was handling all of these alone when it was eating her up from the inside, her cheeks were no longer soft, it was pale and hard and her eyes were filled with overwhelming emotions.

"Do you really think that going to work in this condition is the best thing to do?"

"What?" She was confused by the sudden question. She had only held his hand and chased after him to tell him that she will be leaving for work after retouching her make-up. She did retouch her makeup and that made her look hotter than ever. Once her makeup was done In the bathroom, and Shawn had let her go, she had to put up that usual facade and start work, it was a good thing that Ashley was still not around otherwise her patience would have run thin and she would just have to hurt the annoying Woman. She thought. "You are not in the right frame of mind to head to work, if you got to work now, looking like this, you are going to end up messing up a whole lot of things, we really need to talk before you leave that door"

"I am really alright, it was just a moment but I am very much alright now so you do not have to bother about me, and just be happy" She was giving herself some time to gather up all the courage that she needed to tell him all about these once and for all.

He has shown that he was different, not everyone would have noticed that she was not herself this morning, but Shawn did. That was something she never expected of him.

"I know that you must think that you don't want to burden me but you are not, I am already burdened when you are not telling me, and what did they always say, two good heads is better than one and you are I are exactly on that team"

The glee on her face couldn't be contained at that moment, she did not think for one moment that he considered her a team or them to be part of a team which meant that they were in this together. She was not alone and even though she was afraid of the unknown, that gave her the encouragement that she needed to push harder so that they would find a way around this. Secrets will only destroy what they have, what if someone shows up and tells Shawn all about it, though she doubted that would really happen.

However, they were married now and should not have secrets between them especially one as bad as hers that involves her deceits but Shawn will understand. She thought. She did not have much choice back then and still doesn't really have a choice now either, her mother was sick, and marrying him was going to get her some money then she was going to do it.

"Are we really a team?"

"Di you have to doubt that? You know that we have always been one right from the first day that we got married and I got to see your face, I still remember when you made breakfast for me even after I said that I wasn't hungry, you could have let me starve and then go on your way but you didn't do that, what about the time that we fought those rogues, you stood up for me and said that I wasn't that sort of man who will allow another man to touch you. We have always been a team and you know that"

Hannah was amazed that he remembered it all, the memory lane was something that she assumed that he had already forgotten but he remembered all the events surrounding it especially the part about the thugs, which was some adventure. She hoped that not happen again, those thugs had no conscience and could have hurt her.

"I didn't think that you would remember

"Why won't I? Don't you remember?"

"Of course I do, I remember everything, even the part that you had to show up at that wedding shop that day and get that gown for me, I remember when you stood up for me against my stepmother and sister, I remember when you beat up Mike for what he had done to and then you bought thing for me after that dinner in restaurant and the other night that you went out in the middle of the night to get thy sanitary pads for me, that was thoughtful of you and cute"

"The point is that we are a team and you have to tell me what's going on with you"

"You are right, I have to tell you what's wrong with me" she exhaled, aware that courage was what she needed.
