Chapter 45: Are you married?

He did not know that she had become curious as to who was in his life.

"Well, the thing is... I... you" She glanced around as if there was someone in the house. There was no one yet she was whispering, and mumbling words that she could not fathom.

"What are you doing?" He looked around trying to wonder what it was that she was looking at. There was nothing like that, they were good and no one was around the house. "Are you sure you don't need water,? What is it Hannah, you know that you can tell me anything and I won't get mad at you"

She was not scared that he would get mad at her, he knew that he would not do that but she just couldn't let the word out no matter how hard she tried. It was just stuck in her throat and there was nothing that she could do about it.

"No matter how hard I try the words won't just come out"

"That's serious, that means you want to ask something that embarrassing or something that you think is I will likely not -"

"Are you married or in any way relationship?"

"Is that it?"

She nodded her head that was being way too forward and she would not want to be that way, she just wanted to be nearer to him without having to be forward all the time. It also felt weird for her to ask the question since he did not really ask her anything about her personal life.

"You don't have to answer if that makes you uncomfortable, you know what you can just forget about it, I am not that curious to know"

She lies.

"What are you saying? If you want to know something, there is nothing wrong with that, know what I think I will ask you first, tell me about your relationship'

"I only had a relationship once"

"And?".

"You already met him what you came to the company, he was the one you beat up, I told you about it"

Shawn already knew this as well but just wanted to hear it from her, he knew all about the love triangle and the fact that Mike was trying so hard to try and win her back but that was pointless, she was not going back to him, not after what did to her when they were together. He turns out to be worse than than her father, at least with her father, she has long given up on him and he never pretended that he loved her and took her as one of his daughters.

That was why no one accepted her in the first place, she was not even accepted by the man who was her father so who would accept her?

No one was going to do that at all, nevertheless, there was one person that she thought loved her and that was Mike. He made her believe that they were going to be happy but he turned around and did something that she can never forget. They can never be friends, she sees him as nothing and doesn't want to have any form of conversation with him.

"I know that I beat up someone, when did you start dating him?"

She didn't know why he was asking her all that but then she wanted to talk about it this her. There was no one she had ever talked about it before with, and there was no one who was going to listen to her they asked her how she felt during those times that he did those things to her.

"We dated when I was in college and he seemed like a pretty nice guy, I mean looks can be very deceiving"

"He is not even that handsome" Shawn mumbles

"I am not saying that he is good-looking, I meant that you will think that he is the ideal kind of boyfriend, you will not know that he is Nothing but a douche bag till you are together with him"

"Did he hurt you?"

"Well he cheated on me with this my colleague at work, Ashley, the woman is Nothing but a pain in the neck and I am tired of having her around. She stops at Nothing to ruin me as if she wasn't the one who took Him away first" "Hang on, is there some sort of Feelings that you feel?"

"Why will I feel something for someone who cheated on me all the time and left me because I was illegitimate? Doesn't that mean that he left me because I wasn't what he wanted? I don't feel anything for him and now that I come to think of it, it was a good thing that he left me otherwise, I would not have been able to help my mother" "What about me?" Shawn frowned, he thought that she was going to include him along the line.

"I won't say it was a good thing that you got attacked. I don't want you to get attacked, that would be stupid of me to say, if you didn't get attacked in your pack I am sure that we wouldn't have met, don't you think? I will not say that, what if you don't survive it? Won't it be out of my own selfishness?"

"I am sorry for saying that but then I know that we would have still met" he sounded very sure that they would meet and that was weird, they are not even from the same town, if he hadn't chosen to reside in her town then Maybe none if none of this happened. "You sound so sure about it,"

"Yes you just have to trust your instincts"

She shook her head, he had very weird Instincts and she wanted to believe him but then that was not really important. She was glad that she met him.

"So now tell me about yours? Were you in a relationship? Or perhaps married"

"Yes I am married" he stated leaving her in utter shock.
