Chapter 50: His request

Chapter 50

Shawn paced around, wondering what was keeping her waiting, he knew her arrival time as well as her departure time even though most of the time when she left for work he was still in his room sleeping he wasn't really an early morning person, but despite all that he still knew when she left for work but just pretended to be asleep so as not to bother her, he would always stare at her through the open doorway as she walked to the entrance door and sometimes he will lean against his door waiting to hear her walking close to his room door to check on him, she will stand by the door but will never knock or come into the room so as not to disturb his sleep, sometimes when she assumed that he was asleep he was fully awake and was waiting for her to come into the room but that never happened. When he took up his mobile phone and tried to call her up the door opened, and I walked into the room, locking eyes with him she wondered what he was doing standing there like that.

"What are you doing?" she arched up her brow wondering why he was standing very close to the door, anxiety dwelt on his face.

"Nothing I was waiting for you so that we could talk, you seem to have gotten off from work very late today"

"I had a lot to do at the office, calls coming in, files to arrange lot more you know, so I couldn't just leave it and come rushing back home I had to work overtime"

"Not all the time, sometimes you just have to come back home and rest, you work more than everyone else in that office, you don't have to tell me I just know"

"We can talk now, I am right here"

Shawn nodded his head, raking his hand through his hair, he studied the lines on her face. I wondered if something had happened at the office or if it was about their conversation in the morning.

"I think you already know, don't you feel it?"

""Feel what?"

"The attraction, the Bond, it's like a moth to a flame. I have been feeling it ever since I met you it's getting stronger and overwhelming, sometimes I can't even control it, tell me do you feel it? I know you do"

She looked at him quizzically, he was telling the truth, when he mentioned this in the morning she thought he was only goofing around, she never thought he was serious, but now that he brought it up again she realized that he was serious and was not playing around when he said that the attraction was getting stronger and so was the bond between them. Hannah felt bad she had been living with him for so long and they'd been together all the time even while they were back in their small town, but she never felt anything, the destined attraction was something that she didn't know how it felt and has hoped for it, but why it was right in front of her she could not even tell which only means that they weren't mates she thought.

This was too much for her to handle, this was not what she planned for, she could never have imagined that this was how their conversation tonight was going to turn out to be, and that made her feel sad, she needed time, what she wanted was a moment to sink in everything that she had heard, that was the only way she could take it all in and not feel overwhelmed, the sadness was ripping her off and she took a step back away from Shawn to breath.

"Hannah please say something" he pleaded. the silence was ripping him apart and he just wanted to find out what was going through her head at the moment, he knew this was a lot but then he hoped she would take it in since they'd known each other for a long time and have been a couple also he had refused to sign the divorce paper, he wanted to hear her words and not her silence, it made him anxious and nervous, his heart raced wondering what her response will be.

"I need time, give me time to cool off, all this is just a lot for me right now I never planned for this"

Shawn nodded his head, he was saddened but then there was nothing that you could do she wanted time and that was what you were going to give to her so he wouldn't end up being selfish.

"I'll give you time" Shawn had to say, even though it was not from his mind even though, their relationship was in Crisis and Shawn wanted to tell her about the phone call that he had received that afternoon, The man who had harmed him has been wandering around the pack, trying to hurt the people that he cares about, his back was in trouble as many people were dying and others were getting missing at night and others by daytime, his parents has fallen victims as well and had mysteriously gotten into an accident and sustained a lot of injuries the needed time to recover probably weeks as a doctor had told him.

"You can take all the time that you want but not too much time because a lot is happening back home and I don't want you to get hurt"

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't worry about it" he did not want to scare her, but was scared that something bad might happen to her since they'd gotten to his parents, he was going after the ones that he cared about, the people that his heart beat for. He knew that if he was to come after him he wouldn't be able to find him since rumors of him being alive were spreading around the pack like Wildfire, so he was trying to lure him out by going after his people, he could not leave Hanna park here in Garden City and head back home that would be devastating because he was not know what will happen to her, he could not be assured of her safety and the only thing that he wanted was to keep her safe.

Keeping her safe meant keeping her by his side and that would mean he would have to take her back, but the problem was Hannah, with everything that was going on he wasn't sure she was ready to make That Move however he would have to try, that was the only way he could figure out what next to do. when G had sent him the picture of his parents in the hospital, his heart shattered, if they were not werewolves they would not have survived the accident, someone had tampered with their brakes and it would only be the man who was after his life hunting him down every day trying to get rid of him so that he could take over.

However, he was not ready to give up his pack neither was he ready to let the people he loves get hurt that was not going to happen he was going to protect them until the very end that was a promise he made after he got attacked and he was going to keep to his words every single day of his life. "I want ask you something" he looked at her hoping that he could get right through to her and not make this any harder for them, Since they were together and one was not getting separated from the other. "what is it?"

"I have decided that I want to go back home, but I want you to come with me, Hannah"
