Ethan stares at a fixed point, what that witch was asking him for was not a fair deal. Of course it wasn’t impossible, but…

—Why do you think so much about answering, wolf? —She walks away from him and rests her body again on that potions shelf —. Don’t you want to save the life of your beloved human?

—What you ask of me is not fair, and you know it.

“It’s a pretty fair deal, you can’t imagine what I’ll have to do to give your wife the gift of becoming a wolf.” He strokes her long black hair. I will have to devote a lot of power to it, it seems to me that the head of that wolf is more than fair for my work.

—With all the powers you have, you can take care of that yourself, witch. There must be something else you want.

She stares at him, without smiling, without blinking, with that somber expression that characterized her as the perfect mountain witch.

The alpha keeps his gaze on the witch.

—If I wanted to kill your moon, I would have done it many moons ago, wolf. This potion is so that she does not feel pain during the trip, the illness will stop for a few hours; long enough for you to get here.

The alpha looks at the bottle with suspicion, he didn’t trust it, but what choice did he have. He didn’t believe that that witch was as stupid as her to want to kill Shery and not get what she wants.

However; He wasn’t stupid, he would be very careful with her. She wasn’t trustworthy, especially when he asked her for something that she could very well get. Was he afraid of Lucian? That was impossible to imagine, she was very powerful.

Several minutes later, Ethan’s eyes snap open and he immediately stands up. The alpha realizes that he was in the middle of the forest, next to that lake, which was no longer greenish.

He looks around and notices that he was in the same place where he had found the witch, but it was very clear, it had to be morning, had everything that happened to him been a dream?

She looks at his body and realizes that he was naked, then she looks at the floor and notices that bottle with the blackened liquid. He picks it up and looks at it.

—It was real, I did find it!

The alpha looks up and focuses on the path back home. He turns into a wolf and takes the bottle with his snout. He had to bring Shery back to the mountain that same day.

Adara listened attentively to the orders of her uncle the beta, the wolves of the pack listened attentively to the beta without complaints; The brunette, like him, could not sleep all night, that morning before the sun rose, he gathered the wolves who were on guard to be informed of the new orders of the day.

Suddenly, one of the wolves guarding the pack’s tower comes running to the group.

—My beta, Miss Adara. A pack of wolves approaches the pack, apparently their leader is an albino wolf.

The brunette was distressed, since they had not received news of a visit. She looks at her uncle who frowns.

—Everyone in their positions, if we are being attacked, we have to defend ourselves with what we have.

—Adara, take refuge in the house with your mother, protect her.

She runs towards her house, while she watches as all the wolves disperse to her positions. It has been many moons since they were attacked by anyone, in fact, since she could remember she did not remember the herd being attacked by anyone.

The brunette ventured into her house, when suddenly that aroma that she already knew very well reached her nostrils. Adara stops on the spot, and looks back. Her heart began to pound, there was no doubt about that aroma.

—Bardas! “She,” she smiles, retracing her steps and running towards the forest.

Adara transforms into a wolf and runs faster, she longed to meet that wolf. She was frantic and she wasn’t listening to anyone at all, she could only concentrate on that aroma that was becoming more penetrating.

A battalion of wolves went after Adara, they were trying to catch up with her, but the wolf was very fast. Too much for her age, rather.

Bardas perceived the scent of her moon, it was getting closer, it was of some use to have released the level of her pheromone scent. As I suspect, she would detect it even if she were miles away… she traveled a few more kilometers, when out of nowhere, a beautiful albino wolf crossed her path.

Immediately, they both approached each other, and began to smell each other affectionately. Bardas licked her moon’s ear while she sobbed like a puppy.

At that moment, a pack of wolves I surround the couple, all growling and showing their teeth. The wolves following Bardas took up an attack position to protect their prince.

—“Enough” —Adara spoke in the minds of everyone present —. “We are in the presence of Prince Bardas, he is not an enemy”

Several minutes later, Ethan’s eyes snap open and he immediately stands up. The alpha realizes that he was in the middle of the forest, next to that lake, which was no longer greenish.

Bardas is surprised by the ability of that wolf to be able to communicate with everyone at the same time, at her age, it was not something easy to handle. Usually, the voices of all the wolves come together and it is quite difficult for a newbie to maintain a conversation with at least two wolves at the same time.

But she, she could do it so easily, it was like she was an old wolf. There wasn’t much difference between him and her.

— “Prince, we didn’t know about her visit to the pack. Our most sincere apologies” —The beta apologizes.

—“It was my fault for not warning in time. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused”

—“We welcome you to the blue moon pack”

—“Thank you very much, I have come to stay for a long time. Several kilometers away, a group of my men are on their way with supplies. If anyone could provide support so that they can arrive sooner, I would appreciate it”

Bardas looks at Adara, and she at him. At that moment, he mentalized her conversation with her privately.

Ethan went down the mountain in a hurry, he forgot about the tiredness, that he was hungry and thirsty. His mission was clear, he could not allow night to fall and his wife to be in the pack.

When the moon rose, Shery would die.

He ran faster, until he glimpsed the tower of his home. But a familiar smell makes him stop, the wolf began to sniff the ground and scratch it with his paw.

—“We have a visitor”

—“I think it’s a good idea to have extra help”

—“A help who wants to marry my daughter”

—“We know that was going to happen sooner rather than later. Also, Adara is ready. She is a cunning and very intelligent wolf, apart from that, she is very powerful Ethan”

— “You have already told me that, since she was in her mother’s womb. But you have never mentioned to me why so much security. What do you know?”

The young man denies and continues on the way home, he was already quite close, he could smell the faint aroma of his moon. Every day Shery’s smell diminished, her light was fading.

Finally, Ethan managed to reach his domain. The inhabitants looked at him strangely at his presence, but he would deal with it later. For now he needs to eat, regain strength, and prepare his wife for the trip.

Arriving home, the first to leave was his daughter in the company of Prince Bardas, further back JB accompanied them. Everyone equally surprised. The alpha returned to his human state, and his daughter immediately threw something at him to cover himself.

—Father, what has happened? Your whole body is full of scars. And you smell like medicinal herbs, I barely knew you were close.

—Prepare her with very warm clothes, I will leave right now with her.

The young woman looks at her father in amazement.

—Dad, mom can’t make any effort. She’s not ready to go anywhere.

—Trust me, go and do what I tell you.

—You should take her to the witch, right? —It was Bardas who asked him, after Adara left.

She knew it, but she would do it, it was her only solution.
