Maximus

POV.

I was stunned. "What?! That's insane."

Celine's expression turned from anger to excitement within seconds. "Do it and you'll get Felicity back. It's that simple."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She was a psychopath.

I was horrified by Celine's demand and shook my head in disbelief. "No," I said firmly. "I won't do that, not for any reason."

Celine's eyes narrowed in anger as she grabbed Felicity by the hair once again. "If you don't do it, I'll make her suffer," she threatened.

I could see the fear in Felicity's eyes, and my heart ached at the thought of her being hurt. But I couldn't bring myself to agree to Celine's demand. I loved Felicity too much, and I couldn't betray her like that.

"You can do whatever you want to me," I said, struggling against the men who were holding me captive. "But I won't let you hurt her."

Celine laughed cruelly. "Oh, I don't want to hurt her," she said. "I just want to make you suffer."

She motioned to one of her guards, who brought over a box and placed it in front of me. "You see this?" she asked, pointing to the box. "Inside are the heads of some of your loved ones. If you don't do as I say, I'll chop off their heads one by one."

I felt as if the floor had been pulled from beneath me. The box was filled with the heads of some of my soldiers and cleaner. It was a sickening reminder of how cruel and heartless Celine truly was.

I could feel the weight of the world on my shoulders as I tried to come up with a plan. I couldn't let Celine win, but I also couldn't risk losing any more of my loved ones.

"Just let Felicity and our baby go," I said finally, trying to think of a way out of this situation. "You can do whatever you want with me, but leave them out of this."

Celine smirked, obviously pleased with my response. "You're smarter than I gave you credit for," she said. "Very well. I'll let them go. But you, my dear Maximus, belong to me now."

She motioned for her men to untie Felicity and our baby, and they quickly complied. I watched as Felicity rushed over to my side, tears streaming down her face. "Are you okay?" she asked me, her voice filled with concern.

I nodded, relieved that she was safe. But I knew that my troubles were far from over. Celine still had me captive, and I had no idea what she had in store for me.

Celine's guards seized Felicity and our baby once again. "Don't worry, my dear," Celine said to me with a smirk. "I'll take good care of them. And as for you, well, let's just say that you're going to be very busy..."

I shuddered at her words, feeling a cold dread settle in my chest. I had no idea what was going to happen next, but I knew that I had to be ready for anything.

As Celine's men dragged me away, I tried to think of a way out of this. I couldn't let her win, but I didn't have any options.

"What are you going to do with me?" I asked Celine, trying to keep my voice steady.

Celine smiled slyly. "Oh, I have a few ideas in mind," she said. "But first, I want to see you suffer."

She motioned for her men to take me to a room, where they tied me up to a chair. I could feel sweat beads forming on my forehead as I tried to come up with a plan.

Just then, I noticed a small loose thread on the rope. I started to pull at it, slowly and carefully, hoping that it would loosen the rope enough for me to break free.

After a few minutes of careful work, I managed to free my arms. I quickly untied the rest of the rope and looked around for a way out.

I noticed a small air duct above my head and attempted to climb up to it. Just as I was about to reach it, Celine entered the room.

"Trying to escape, my dear?" she asked sweetly, her eyes glinting with malice.

I jumped down from the chair, ready to fight. "I won't let you hurt anyone else," I said defiantly.

Celine laughed. "You're such a brave little puppy," she said. "But you're all alone now. And soon enough, you'll be begging me for mercy."

I took a fighting stance, ready to defend myself. But before I could even move, Celine pulled out a blaster and shot me in the leg.

I cried out in pain, collapsing to the ground. Celine walked over to me and kicked me in the stomach.

"I told you not to resist," she said, her eyes glinting with pleasure.

But I refused to give up. With a burst of energy, I sprang up and tackled Celine. We both went crashing to the ground, struggling against each other.

Just as I thought I had the upper hand, Celine pulled out a knife and held it to my throat.

"Game over, Maximus," she said, triumphant.

But before she could do anything, Felicity burst into the room, holding our baby in her arms.

"Get away from him!" she shouted, her eyes filled with fury.

Celine laughed. "Oh, how sweet," she said. "But I'm afraid it's too late for that."

Felicity's entrance came as a complete surprise to Celine, and I took advantage of her momentary distraction to disarm her and grab the knife. I stood up, while Celine watched me warily, and Felicity stood protectively in front of our baby, ready to defend us. "Let's put an end to this," I said coldly, brandishing the knife. "I'm tired of playing your twisted games, Celine. It's time for you to pay for your sins."

Celine's face twisted in a mixture of rage and fear. "You won't get away with this," she spat. "My men will hunt you down and make you pay for what you've done!"

"Your men are no match for us," I replied, feeling a sense of confidence and purpose that I hadn't felt in a long time. "We'll take them out one by one, and then deal with you."

With Felicity at my side, and our baby between us, we faced off against Celine and her men. It was a tense and dangerous situation, but I knew that we had no choice but to fight.

We quickly formulated a plan. Felicity and I would take out the guards, while our other imprisoned friends helped by causing distractions and creating diversions. Once we had cleared the way, we would kill Celine and make our escape.

We grabbed the nearest weapons we could find and charged into the fray, each determined to emerge victorious. The battle was fierce and bloody, but we kept fighting, relentlessly pursuing our goal.

I slashed and hacked at the guards, feeling the thrill of battle course through my veins. Felicity was equally skilled, her movements fluid and deadly. Together, we were a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Our friends did their part, too. They created smoke and loud noises, which disoriented the guards and made it easier for us to attack.

After what seemed like hours, we finally emerged victorious. The last of Celine's men lay scattered around us, their bodies battered and broken.

I turned to Celine, who was cowering on the ground, begging for mercy. "It's over, Celine," I said, my voice cold and unyielding. "You've lost."

Celine looked up at me, her eyes wide with fear. "Please don't kill me," she pleaded. "I'll do anything you want, just spare me."

But I knew that I couldn't let her live. She had caused too much pain and suffering, and had to be brought to justice.

"I'm sorry," I said, raising the knife and bringing it down in a swift, clean stroke.

Celine's eyes went dim, and her body slumped to the ground. The room was filled with an eerie silence, broken only by the rasping breaths of our heaving chests.

After a few moments of quiet, we gathered our things and made our way to the exit. We untied our other imprisoned friends and freed them, adding strength to our team.

We emerged into the bright sunlight, each of us feeling a sense of relief and triumph. We had succeeded.

As we stepped out into the open air, I turned to se Felicity with our baby in her arms. She looked beautiful in the sunlight, with her hair blowing lightly in the breeze. My heart swelled with love as I walked towards her, taking her and the baby in my arms.

I hugged them both tightly, feeling their warmth and love radiating through me. And then, without a word, I leaned in and kissed Felicity tenderly, passionately, and with all of the love I had in my heart.

The happiness and joy on our faces as we embrace each other were wonderful. The baby gurgles happily, oblivious to the danger we had just faced. Felicity's eyes sparkle with tears of happiness, and I can feel her heart beating fast against mine. We knew how close we had come to losing each other, but now we were together and safe.

It was a moment of pure joy, one that I knew would stay with me forever. As we stood there, holding each other close, I felt a sense of peace settle over me. We had entered into a new chapter of our lives, one filled with hope and possibility. And I knew that, with Felicity and our baby by my side, anything was possible.
