The Lycan’s King Breeder -
Chapter 97
Felicity
POV.
As we arrived at Alpha Melezo's cave, we were led to a dark and dirty place where they tied our hands and feet. We all tried to struggle, but we were too weak from our journey. They made us kneel with our hands tied behind our backs. We could hear Alpha Melezo's deep voice in the distance, but we couldn't make out what he was saying.
Suddenly, we heard a mournful voice approaching us. "As we meet Felicity and Maximus, I missed you my favourite couple. I hope that I, too, would be missed by you," he said. It was Alpha Melezo. He was wearing a lion skin and holding a spear in his hand.
We remained silent, but Melezo didn't seem to mind. "Come now, speak up. Haven't I been a wonderful host?" he asked, approaching us with a smug smile.
Maximus spat at him and laughed. "You call this being a host? Tying us up like animals and treating us like your prisoners?" he said.
Melezo didn't seem to be affected by Maximus' words. Instead, he bent down to his level and Maximus trampled on his face.
"Well done, Maximus," Melezo smiled viciously. "I see your temper hasn't changed."
Maximus continued to struggle against his restraints, but Melezo seemed unfazed.
"Now, now, there's no need for violence," Melezo said, wiping the spit and blood from his face. "I only wanted to make sure you were comfortable."
As Melezo stepped back, I took the opportunity to speak up, I couldn't stand it anymore. "Why are you doing this? What do you want from us Melezo? Why did you bring us here?" I asked. Melezo chuckled. "I thought that would be obvious by now.
"My dear Felicity, you still don't understand, do you?" Melezo said, standing up and brushing off the dirt from his face. "I want you both."
Maximus scoffed. "You're a monster."
Melezo said "says the one who is a devil compared to me!"
"That was before... Before I found the love. Today I have changed." Maximus replied proud of himself.
"I can't believe you're saying all of this in front of me," Melezo chuckled. "Do you honestly think love can conquer all?"
Maximus turned to me. "Love is the strongest force in the world."
Melezo chuckled again. "Oh, how sweet. Love has made you both delusional," he said with a smirk.
Maximus was now angry. "You don't understand anything," he growled.
Melezo scoffed. "Enlighten me then, oh wise one," he retorted.
"It was because of Felicity that I changed," Maximus said, looking at me with tenderness in his eyes. "She showed me that love was worth fighting for, that being kind and forgiving was a strength, not a weakness." Melezo rolled his eyes. "Spare me the love story, will you? It's getting nauseating," he said.
"That's because you don't understand love," I spoke up, my voice shaking slightly. "It's the most powerful force in the world. It gives us hope, it gives us strength, it makes us do incredible things." Melezo laughed darkly. "Love is a distraction, a weakness that can be used against you," he said.
"What do you know?" Maximus asked.
Melezo rolled his eyes. "How sweet. And how foolish. Love makes you weak. It clouds your judgment and makes you vulnerable."
Maximus shook his head. "Love makes me strong. It gives me a reason to fight and a reason to live. Without Felicity, I wouldn't be the man I am today."
Melezo sneered. "You really have become weak, haven't you? And you," he turned to me, "you're the reason for it. Congratulations."
"Love is magic!" Maximus said.
"I'm not interested in such trivial matters like love. All I want is power, and you two can give that to me."
I felt a surge of anger. "What do you want from us, Melezo?"
He just laughed, a cruel laugh.
Maximus said, his eyes blazing. "We will never give you what you want," he said firmly.
Melezo's smile faded. "Well, we'll see about that. You'll see soon enough that you have no choice " he said.
His guards came forward to hit Maximus.
"Stop! Please, stop!" I begged, but it fell on deaf ears.
"You're a coward, Melezo," Maximus spat out between blows. " You put a price on our heads. You're just a coward!"
Melezo looked shocked for a moment, then smirked. "Wow! So your heads have a price? I didn't even know. The person who did this must be rewarded, right?" Maximus replied that he was lying, but I knew it was Melezo.
He slowly made his way towards me and licked his lips. I recoiled in disgust and Maximus shouted at him not to touch me.
Melezo grinned wickedly. "I've been waiting for this moment," he said, his eyes flickering with desire.
I shuddered, feeling his gaze sweep over my body. "Stay away from me," I warned.
But he only chuckled. "You're much too lovely to resist," he murmured, moving closer still.
I felt my heart pounding in my chest as I backed away, towards Maximus "Please let me," I begged, my voice trembling with fear.
"Don't you dare touch her," Maximus growled.
Melezo only sneered. "What, are you going to protect her now?" he taunted.
"You know I will," Maximus spat.
Melezo chuckled again, and I could see the desire in his eyes growing stronger. "Well then," he said, taking another step closer to me. "Let's see what you're really made of."
I froze, my heart pounding in my chest as he reached out to touch me. "No," I whispered, my voice barely audible.
But it was too late. Melezo's hand was on my b****t, and I felt sickened by his touch. "Get off of me," I hissed, trying to push him away.
"You have no right to touch her," Maximus roared.
Melezo only laughed. "I'll do what I want, when I want," he said, lunging forward again.
He licked my lips and kissed me hard, it was disgusting and sickening.
Finally after an eternity, he pulled back then looked at me again with desire and envy, he approached me again and caressed my face.
Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. I spat in his face, feeling a fierce wave of anger wash over me. "You're disgusting, yuck" I spat, feeling the rage bubbling up inside me.
Melezo pulled back, wiping the spittle from his face. "You'll pay for that," he snarled.
But I didn't care. All I knew was that I had stood up to him, and I wasn't going to let him win.
Maximus spoke up, "You're going to pay for what you've done to us!"
Melezo laughed menacingly, his eyes glinting with malice. "That's what we'll see, Maximus. That's what we'll see," he said, turning to his guards. "Take them to the black corridor of the abyss."
I tried to back away, but the guards were too strong. They lifted us off the ground, and we struggled against their grip. Maximus, still injured, couldn't transform to defend us.
Agent Brown, who had been quiet up until now, spoke up. "Keep your word! You said you were just going to go after Maximus, but not us. Now you want to kill us too?"
I was shocked by what Agent Brown said. Maximus had been telling the truth all along; he really was the traitor. I felt guilty for not believing Maximus earlier. Melezo smirked at us. "You should have known better than to trust a traitor. Guards, take them away!"
The guard's grip tightened as I realized that we were being taken away to who knows where. This was our worst nightmare come to life.
"I can't believe I fell for Agent Brown's lies," I muttered to myself, feeling guilty for not trusting Maximus.
"Ha! Thanks for being so gullible, Agent Brown. You're so stupid, but you helped us in the end," one of the guards taunted, raising Agent Brown by the collar.
The other guards cackled in amusement at Agent Brown's expense. I clenched my fists, wanting to slap them all.
"We'll kill you first, as a thank you," the guard snarled, his blade glinting in the dim light of the dungeon.
I squeezed my eyes shut, not wanting to witness the grisly scene about to unfold. But suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the room as the door swung open. Men wearing Maximus' army uniforms stormed into the dungeon, weapons drawn.
