I’ve been trying to call Amara’s mobile phone but it’s still off, I tried to ask Sophie and Happy about my mate but they are not talking to me. Maybe she needs more time and I understand her however, my heart is uneasy, Drakon is agitated and so Am i. The last time I went to her home, there was no one there.

” Don’t worry, I’m sure she’s fine, she just needs some time away from school,” Cole says, drinking his coffee. We are in our private room on the school property.

I nod and watch Jay and Lyon finish their ping pong match. ” Has Sophie told you anything though?” Asks Lyon, Cole frowns and shakes his head

” No, she’s not talking to me since that day, she hates that I was part of the bet,” He answers, I sigh and look out the window only to see Happy and Sophie looking panicked in a distance, they are talking to Amara’s sisters, Lushomo and the other twin whose name I’ve forgotten, the sisters look terrible, their hair is messy and is wearing non-fitting clothes. I grab my coat and open the window, I climb through there and jump from the second floor, landing stealthily on my feet, my boys follow suit and we approach the group.

Lulu is the first one to notice us, she runs to me and I hug her, she looks like she has been crying and when I hold her, she begins to sob, I let her until she finishes, and cup her face.

” Hey, pretty girl, why are you crying?” I ask gently, keeping my gaze at her elder sister a few meters from us, she looks anxious and scared. Sophie is busy making calls while Happy has stormed off in a hurry.

” Well, my sister- my um – si-ster, has- has,” she is hyperventilating, trying to calm herself. My heart is beating very fast, what could have happened to Amara? Is she sick?

” Calm down and tell us what happened,” Jay says gently to her, she wipes her tears with the back of her hand.

” My sister hasn’t been home since Tuesday,” She sobs, hugging me. Tuesday? But today is Friday, Amara has been missing for three days! where is she?

I approach the twin, ” What happened? where is my mate?” I growl at her, the words just left my mouth, she looks surprised by this, gaping before collecting herself,

” She- um, and Dad argued, my Prince,” She stutters, I can see guilt in her eyes,

” And you only notice that she hasn’t been home today?” I ask, annoyed.

” Well, she said she will leave the house and when she didn’t come, we thought she was staying with Happy or Sophie,” I glance at Sophie, she has tears in her eyes and Lulu goes to her,

” Don’t worry, I called my aunt, and she said she has informed the sheriff about this. They will find her and I’m going to help as well okay,” She says to Lulu, hugging her tightly.

” Where could Amara be?” I whisper. Getting my phone from my pocket to ask the royal trackers to look for her, I have a bad feeling about this.

” Do you think she left the city? Or just hiding out?” Asks Cole. Sophie shakes her head, holding the crying girl closer.

” Amara can’t leave Lulu without a word, she’s her world,”

Indeed, Amara can’t leave the city without talking to her sister no matter what kind of pain she was in.

” I pray she’s okay,” Sophie mutters.

The twin is still looking at me ” Do you have something else to tell us?”

She nods slowly ” There is a man who’s in love with her, his name is Waylen Vince and he’s in a gang…”

As she finishes telling us all about the rogue lord, I’m fuming with anger for her so-called father, what kind of man uses his daughter as a business deal? I’m angry at her sister but I’m angry at myself too, Amara needed me, things at her house were this bad and I had no clue about it.

” I’m going to kill your father, he’s a sick bastard! I’m going to make him pay,” Growls Sophie, with that she runs in the direction of the parking lot, Cole behind her.

” I’m sure the druglord got her forcibly when her father canceled their arrangement, I just hope they didn’t leave the city,” Lyon says, getting his phone and giving orders to their men, to all the cameras she was seen last.

” Let’s go,” As the two girls get into the car and drive off. We leave the school at full speed, looking for my mate.

Amara Pov

My eyes are groggy, and my body is sore, I’m still on the ground and I don’t think I have any strength left in me. I allow tears to roll down my face. Rhudo is in pain as well, I stay on the cold floor for a long. My head is throbbing. I close my eyes, images of Ahyan come to mind, and I see him, watching me.

I keep waking up and falling back into darkness, each time dreaming about this one male, Ahyan. I cry loudly at the thought of him.

My life sucks, how did it become things? I’m missing my mom. The night is cold and lonely and no one has been here for which I’m grateful.

I’m shaking while curled up in a ball, the only thing surrounding me is loneliness other than the room full of dark furniture. It is full of horror just like my life.

My heart suddenly accelerates knowing that he is back, is he high on drugs again? What will he do? Beat or r.ape me like he said he will? I barely have any strength left in me, I can’t take it anymore and my body is too damaged to fight.

The door swings open and I jump at the sound. Walyne reeks of alcohol. He smiles once he turns on the light and notices me. A whimper escapes my lips as I try to back away but there’s no more room as my back hits the wall.

” There’s my little w***e. You tried to escape,” he sneers, tears are streaming down my face. He smiles, enjoying the terror he’s causing.

” Please let me go,” I cry.

Walyne grabs me by my arms harshly and pushes me onto the bed.

He hovers over me and forcibly starts to k**s me while I struggle even though I’m no march for his strength. I clutch my eyes shut as he continues to lick and suck me, his hands touching my breasts. He rips my blouse and dives his head into the middle of my breast, my body is trembling not from the cold but his cold touch.

” F.uck,” He mutters, I hear him unzip his pants.

Rhudo tries to fight him off but she isn’t strong enough.

He freezes suddenly, turning his gaze on the door and before he can say something.

The door is kicked open and I turn to it. I almost sighed in relief when I realize it was the mate that clearly said didn’t want me.

His eyes are red with anger, and growls are erupting from somewhere within him.

” Ahyan,” I croak just as darkness envelopes me.
