Felix smiled. "I promise I'll take care of everything. Also, Xena should be arriving soon."

"Are you not hungry?" he asked, noticing that Xena hadn't picked up her utensils.

"Since you're here, you should at least eat a little. It's polite," Felix insisted.

Hesitating for a moment, Xena finally took a small bite, and the delicious food sparked her appetite.

you manage to cure Yara Hill, make sure to let me know," she said.

The mention of Yara Hill caused Felix to lose his appetite. After all, Leslie was coming later and he couldn't fathom why Gerald was so certain he could solve this problem.

After a while, Xena noticed something and glared at Felix. "What are you looking at?"

He was clearly staring at her lips, which only reminded her of the kiss that had been forced on her the previous night, making her furious.

"You have some food on your lips," Felix remarked.

Xena quickly wiped her mouth and found he was right.

"Don't worry, My actions last night were just punishment for you stealing my credit. I have no interest in you," he said dismissively.

Hearing that, Xena was exasperated. "No interest? Felix! You should say what's on your mind if you're a man. I can't guarantee anything else, but you have a perfect woman with my qualities, charm, and status right next to you!" Felix didn't want to argue as he knew she was just being stubborn.

After giving a cold snort, Xena lost her appetite. They stared at each other for a while behes deciding it was time to leave,

"Have everything packed up for me, Mr. Laird, Felix requested.

The food was delicious, and he thought they could all enjoy the meal together if they managed to cure Leslie. It would be a waste to leave it behind.

At the villa, Felix paced back and forth in the living room, feeling restless as he awaited Leslie's arrival.

Suddenly, his phone rang. It was George calling

"Mr. Zeller, I didn't expect you to be in Canraville! You must be done eating by now. Do you want to grab a drink?" George asked.

Felix wasn't in the mood. "No thanks. Let's do that another time."

"Alright, but I have to ask-are you planning to go to Dreamscape's concert?"

George was worried about whether Felix had tickets. Given his connections to Moonshadow Alliance, it was impossible for him not to secure at least one. "Yeah."

"Great, see you at the concert then."

After hanging up, Felix felt really antsy. As time dragged on, his worry intensified.

Even though Leslie's condition didn't seem too serious, he couldn't shake off his bad premonition.

Finally, the doorbell rang. Felix didn't even glance at the video intercom. He bolted out the door. Seeing the figure standing at the gate, he let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "You finally made it," he said.
