The Triplets' Fighter Luna -
Fighter 149
CHAPTER 047
As we sat in the living room waiting for news that Xavier was attacking, Noah sat on the couch next to me.
He looked around to make sure that no one else was hanging around when he pulled me closer to him so he could put his arm around me and I could rest my head on his chest.
"So, when were you going to tell me that you could read minds?"
"When I got it completely under control. At the moment I can hear what people are thinking at
the most random of times. I need to be able to turn it on and off when I want to."
"Can you listen in when you want to yet?"
"No. I can't switch it on or off yet. I just got lucky last night when I heard Camila."
"Alright. How much have you heard from me?"
"Well, you were pretty angry when Lucas was here all day the other day so I heard you a fair bit. I know that you don't like him hanging around." I said. "Why did you let him?"
"Because he is still technically my mate and I don't want to have another repeat of the full moon night. But, I wasn't affectionate. I wasn't picking him over you. I wasn't really doing much out of the ordinary. I just let him tag along." I said.
"Yeah. I did notice that. So, you haven't made up your mind about him yet?" Noah asked, leaning his head on mine.
"Honestly, I know that he hates what he did. I hate what he did. But he feels an enormous amount of guilt for it. Levi doesn't. He never cared. It was all about the bet to him." "Have you seen him since the bet?"
"Yeah. At school. He made it clear that he didn't care."
"Well, maybe I should go and pay him a visit." Noah said. But I chuckled.
"There's no point. It's over and I am trying to move on. I don't want to start bringing all of this
s**t up again." I said.
"Fair enough." He said.
We waited all night to hear the call for when Xavier attacked. But when we saw the sun
coming up in the morning, we realized that he wasn't going to attack.

We both knew that something was going on. Xavier was plotting something, but he was going to be really cryptic about it and try to be really smart about it. He just doesn't know that my dads have been teaching me strategies of war since I was able to read.
I'm really not as young and spoiled as everyone seems to think I am.
Cole came to the castle once his shift was over. He made sure to bring the day shift up on everything that happened during the night before he came to the castle.
I invited him to stay for breakfast because he worked longer than he was meant to last night
and he was looking really exhausted.
We sat around the dining table talking while the cook was making breakfast and he gave me a play by play of everything that Xavier did during the night.
"So, he didn't actually do anything?" Noah asked.
"No. He just stood there, the whole night. He didn't sit, he didn't move, he just stood in that one spot." Cole said.
"He's trying to prove something to us." I said.
"Like what?" Noah asked.
"That he's tough and patient. That he can wait until he's not being watched before he attacks."
I said.
"Well, that does make sense. But he's going to be watched the whole time he's out there. Everyone is on the lookout for him and they aren't going to let him get away with it." Noah said.
"Was he still there when you left?" I asked.
"No. He'd already gone."
"And you didn't see a replacement?" I asked.
"Nope. No one else came to take his place."
"Alright. Put all the warriors on alert. Him leaving could also be a way of him putting us off his scent if he's planning to attack today. We wouldn't expect an attack during the day. That's not how wolves operate. So we have to be prepared for every scenario." I explained.
"Sure. I also have to give you this. It's the roster of the new warriors that are starting training today." Cole said, handing the file over to me.
"Don't you usually handle all of this?"

"I do. But I thought you'd want to look at the roster." He said.
So I looked at the piece of paper and there were a couple of names that stuck out to me
immediately.
I put the paper back down on the table and I let out a sigh.
"What is it?" Noah asked.
"Lucas and Levi." I said.
"Are you really going to let Levi be a warrior? I mean, Lucas, I understand. But Levi has already shown that he doesn't give a crap about you." Noah snapped as he snatched the paper to see for himself.
"Well, just because he's training to be a warrior doesn't mean he's going to be one. I mean, we can put him through hell for a couple of weeks and then cut him. Can't we?" I asked, looking at Cole.
Cole smirked at me as he leaned back on his chair.
"Yeah. We can definitely do that." Cole said. So I looked at Noah but he still didn't look too convinced. He wasn't happy about it at all.
"Do you want to oversee warrior training? That way you can torture them both." I said.
"I would love nothing more than to do that. But that means I will be leaving you here alone, so I can't."
"No. Move the training to the field next to the castle and I can come to training as well. I'll move Maisie's training to the afternoon." I said.
"I don't want you near them."
"I'll stay by your side and be your training partner the whole time. How about that?"
"Maybe that could work. They are still going to be staring at you the whole time."
"Of course they are. I'm worth staring at." I said, making him laugh. So I threw a bread roll at
him. "That wasn't meant to be a joke." I said.
"I'll go
and make the arrangements to move the training." Cole said, standing up.
"Wait. Have you eaten enough? I don't want people to think I'm starving you as well as overworking you." I said.
"It's fine. I've had enough. I'm gonna sort out this change and then I'm gonna head home for some sleep." He said.

CHAPTER 047
After Cole left I went up to my bedroom. The second I saw my bed I started longing for it since.
I didn't get any sleep last night.
But instead I went to the bathroom to have a shower and to wake myself up properly.
I got dressed in a black and red sports top, matching tights, socks and sand shoes.
I wrapped a sweater around my waist in case it got too cold outside but if we were going to be working out and training then I didn't think I was going to need it.
I gathered everything that I was going to need before Noah met me at the entrance to the
castle.
He still didn't look too thrilled about me going to training, but I didn't really care.
It wasn't just that they were going to be there and that I hated them. I needed to show them that I, as the princess, wasn't going to hide from them.
As long as I kept control of my emotions and my powers didn't take over then I was going to be fine.
We walked down the long staircase down to the field where we saw a lot of guys gathering.. They were all between the ages of 18 and 25.
Lucas and Levi both looked surprised when they saw me approaching them. But then they looked a little scared when they saw Noah.
They knew that they were going to cop it with him here.
I was pretty sure that he already had his training mapped out for the day because he started with telling them all to run five laps of the field that we were standing in. The field was the size of three football fields and they had to run around it five times. And that
was just the warm up.
This was really going to weed out the ones that weren't up for the task.
