Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1768
Oblivious to Melon’s disappearance, she was unaware of the urgency that gripped the bodyguards.
The bodyguards, absorbed in their task, ignored Sadie’s outburst as they continued their thorough sweep of the premises.
Sadie’s frustration boiled over.
Her shouts grew louder, her voice cracking with the strain.
Determined not to suffer in silence, she vowed to make her unrest known to all.
After a while, the lead bodyguard glared threateningly at Sadie, silencing her with his fierce look.
Reluctantly, Sadie turned and retreated to her bed.
Her condition was visibly deteriorating; she was quick to _ anger, increasingly frail, with sunken cheeks.
Because of her pregnancy, her stomach was distended, looking almost like a parasitic entity leeching away at her vitality.
Glancing down at her swollen belly, Sadie’s eyes flickered with hatred.
Initially, she had considered using the unborn child as a bargaining chip, but now, she hated this child.
She also hated the child’s father, Zayden, whose brutal and unfeeling nature had trapped her in this misery.
Yet, she didn’t dare end the pregnancy.

Aware of her fragile health, she understood that terminating the five-month pregnancy could only worsen her already bad condition… Her resolve was ironclad; she needed to survive, regardless of the odds.
Even if her demise was inevitable, she was determined to see Ariana, the loathsome cause of her torment, die first.
Suddenly, the door burst open as the bodyguards entered the room.
Perched on her bed, Sadie eyed them with a frosty gaze.
“What now? Think I’ve stolen something? I’m confined here every day.
What could I possibly take? Get out now!”
The bodyguards paid no heed to her tirades, carefully inspecting every nook and cranny of the room.
As one of them moved closer, Sadie’s eyes narrowed with caution.
The bodyguard, without sparing Sadie a glance, shoved her aside and reached under her pillow, pulling out a concealed object.
It was a tiny, sharp piece of porcelain.
Upon seeing this, Sadie made a grab for it.
Skillfully, the bodyguard sidestepped her attempt and, wordlessly, slipped the shard into his pocket before resuming his search.
Witnessing her makeshift “weapon” being taken away, Sadie seethed with anger, furiously tugging at her hair.
“The moment I’m free, none of you are going to be safe! I swear, I’ll kill you! I’ll rip you to shreds!”
The men in black swept through the room like a storm, leaving chaos in their wake.
Throughout their frantic search, they ignored Sadie completely.
When they finally left, empty-handed and without a single clue about Melon, the room lay in shambles.
Sadie surveyed the wreckage, her body quivering with rage.
She clutched at her collar, gasping for air as her breathing became erratic.
She was having a heart attack.
“Medicine…” Sadie mumbled, fumbling desperately to open the drawer where she kept her heart medication.
After swallowing the pills, Sadie gradually felt her body relax.
She lay on the bed, her eyes glazed over as she stared blankly at the ceiling.
Tears trickled from the corners of her eyes, seeping into her brittle hair.
The endless torment had worn her down.
She yearned for escape.
