Wedding Day Vampire -
Chapter 17
“Marylin’s room? But why?”
“Well like what happened with the diary, we thought that if you stayed in her room and slept in her bed, maybe being in the same places she has been might help you remember something useful from your past life. Marylin spent a lot of time there writing. Maybe you might even have a flashback or something if you stayed in the same environment that she did. We don’t know if it will work, but we think it’s worth giving it a shot.”
“Then let’s do it!” Joana said.
“When would you like to move there?” Derick asked her.
“Since you said we aren’t having any lessons today, how about right now?”
“Ok then, get your things ready, Dana and I will have it cleaned for you then you can move your things there yourself. You’ll only need to move your clothes.”
“No problem, thank you both very much!”
“We’re glad we could help.”

Dear Diary,
As I write on this final page, I want to thank you for being a safe space for me to share my thoughts. Writing here has always been a way for me to communicate with clarity, to learn more and to be more productive. It has always given me an awareness of reality, thus helping me make better decisions for me to be happier and to live more focused. I have a lot of written memories here, and I wish I could write here forever. Thankfully, I can go to the pixie in the enchanted forest to get another diary just like this one so I can continue those special memories. I will definitely miss writing here, but I am also glad that I had the chance to share all my special times here. I hope to create new and long-lasting ones in the new diary I will collect. Until I read you again.
Love,
Marylin.
At last, Joana had gotten to the final page, and seeing nothing new there made her wonder if she would ever be a human again. She had moved into Marylin’s room a few days ago, and yet no memory or flashback had come. She would now have to continue her search for the council in the library, as nothing productive had come from reading Marylin’s diary, and the second one was nowhere to be found.
She got down from her bed feeling sad and went down to the library to begin her search that she was very sure would be endless. She picked up a few books, went to one of the tables, and began to read.
A few hours later, Dana entered.
“Hi Joana, how long have you been here?” She asked as she saw the pile of books Joana had picked up and opened.
“All day,” she said.
“Have you finished reading the diary?”
“Yes, I have, but I still got the same results.”
“So, you weren’t able to find anything at all?”
“No, on the last page she said she was going to continue writing in a new diary that a pixie in some forest was going to give her.”
“Yeah, I was with her when she went to collect the first one. I took her there.”
“You look like you have an idea,” Joana said, noticing that Dana was thinking of something.
“I am trying to remember. I was the one who took her to the forest in London where she met the pixie. The pixie gave it to her as a gift for lifting up the large tree that fell from a storm and lay in the path she was supposed to walk through to go home, because she didn’t have wings like the others. She gave the diary to her as a gift to thank her for what she did, but Marylin refused saying she could never keep a diary, but the pixie told her it was a magic diary she made herself from pixie dust, and she didn’t have to write in it everyday so it would last her for years.”
Love,
“Ok,” Joana said. “But how is any of this going to help me in my quest?”
“Just wait, I am coming to that. The pixie also told her that if she ever lost it, she could always come to her and she would give her something that would help her find it, but Marylin never lost her diary so there was no need to, except for when she exhausted all the pages.”
“So?”
“I am thinking maybe if we go to the enchanted forest in London to find the pixie who gave her this diary, maybe she can help us find the second one.”
“Dana, you’re a genius, why didn’t you say so before?”
“I don’t know, guess I hadn’t thought of it before.”
“Wow, that’s a great idea. You’re an angel Dana, I mean it!” Joana said excitedly, rushing to give Dana a hug. “I can see why Marylin wrote so many good things about you.”
“She did?”
“Yes, she did.”
“I guess I missed it when she would always read what she wrote to me.”
“Maybe she didn’t want you to really know how she felt about you.”
“If she liked me so much, then why did she choose to leave me?”
“I don’t know,” Joana said. “I guess we’ll never know the reason why people do things. The only thing I know is that you’re a really good person, and Marylin knew to always write that down, so she’d never forget.”
