Shianna’s POV

“DAMN IT ALL!! Those bastard muts took her to their pack so soon?” alpha William roared. Luna Tasha came beside him. “Don’t worry my love. We will find her just like we did when she left Red Moon. Shianna will find her. She is our best tracker.” I internally roll my eyes and so does my wolf, Silver. ‘Of course our so called mother would pin the responsibility of finding that girl again on us. She would never want to have father’s rage aimed at her.’ Silver sarcastically said in my mind. I wanted to smirk and laugh, but if that happened alpha William would hit me again. It was bad enough that the alpha, my so called father, gave me a scar on my face causing my face to look ugly and distorted, back when I was 16. The scar goes across my face. From my right temple to the left side of my chin. All because I didn’t want to kill anyone at the one of the packs he found a gifted wolf from. Since it happened before I got my wolf, Silver couldn’t heal it.

It was before we found this girl at Red Moon. She is the only one that has really stuck in my mind. I caused her such pain. I didn’t know that wolf was the Luna, but William would have killed me if I didn’t take her out. ‘Silver? Do you think Jessabelle could free us from William and Trisha? Parents or not I can’t live like this anymore. I would rather be alone than having to fear for my life.’ ‘I honestly don’t know Shy. We did cause her pain, and commit a serious crime by killing a Luna. Maybe since they want us to find her, we should speak to her.’ ‘Good plan.’ I bow my head and wait for William to either give me the order to find her or wait for him to hit me some more.

“It would be an honor to find this she wolf again for you alpha. I do have both strengths of you and the Luna running through me. It should be simple to find the Raven Moon pack.” I was half witch, half wolf. Even though Tasha tries to get me to use that stupid book she stole from her elder sister. I want nothing to do with b***d magic. Each time Tasha uses that book to take a gifted wolf’s life and give it to William, they both become more and more delusional. These rouges only follow William out of fear.

My own witch gifts were the only thing I was thankful for from my mother, because it did make me the best tracker ever. All I need is something that belonged to that person and I can find them anywhere in the world. I can connect with a living being’s soul. I can see into a person’s heart and soul. If I was to describe my parent’s souls. They are like living muck monsters. Their souls become tainter and tainter everytime they perform b***d magic. When I looked at that one girl that William has been obsessed with for the last 10 years. Her soul was a special one. The perfect amount of yin and yang.

I felt she could free me from my life of hell with these monsters, but she may also just kill me. I’m the reason she was shunned and abused from her pack. I killed the Luna and she was blamed. I was pulled from my thoughts, by William’s growl. “Shianna if you fail in finding her within the next few months, I will kill you. Daughter or not. I don’t need my b***d to fail. I need that b***h alive and here by her 24th birthday to extract her powers. Taking her true powers the day they awake makes them easier to take since she will have no control over them.” he grinned.

This monster was getting very cocky for something that is beyond his expiration date. I bite my tongue. “Yes alpha. I will not fail. I will bring her here by her birthday.” “I hope so. Otherwise you know what will happen.” he growled out. I bowed my head deeper and then turned to leave. ‘If only Aunt Sabrina survived the poison and explosion from the Nightmare Pack. I could be with her. Truly learn to use my witch powers to the fullest. I want to be like her.’

As soon as I was out of sight of William and Tasha, I pulled out an old locket I stole from my mother’s room. She still has no idea I have it or even know about Aunt Sabrina. I opened the locket and it had an old picture of my parents smiling brightly with my aunt. I stare at the woman with sea blue hair. ‘She would have been a great teacher for us.’ Silver commented. I closed my locket and stripped off my clothes. I shift into Silver. Her fur is a beautiful silver. She also had one yellow eye and one silver eye. Just like what mother and father’s eyes use to look like. I grabbed my clothes in my mouth and I ran off to Thunder Mountain. I need to find Jessabelle before William or Trisha does.

Since she left a lot of her belongings at Red Moon it was easy to track her down to the Thunder Mountain pack, but I have no idea where the Raven Moon pack is. Usually a pack is somewhat close to a human town, but it is not like they broadcast where the pack land territory lines start. Getting caught was not something I could do right now. ‘Especially after Red Moon.’ Silver said through our link. ‘I know. After she help us bring William and Trisha down for good, I would happily accept any punishment Jessabelle has for me.’ I made her suffer for so long, just because I was too scared of William’s wrath at the time.

Once I made it to the Thunder Mountain pack house. I shifted back to my human form and dressed myself. I chanted a spell that hides my scent for a couple hours. I wish I knew any invisibility spells, but with my lack of training, and concealing my own gifts from the alpha and luna. Yeah no luck with learning a lot of simple magic. Even for someone my age.

I lightened my breathing so those with good hearing, even for a werewolf, wouldn’t hear my heart. I snuck into the hallway window that was left open. I sniffed around. I only knew Jessabelle’s scent mainly because she has been the only one I was tracking the last 10 years.

I opened a door to some kind of office. No one was in here thank the goddess. I closed the door quietly and started looking around. Something to give me an idea of which way Raven Moon was from here. While looking I thought back to when I first saw Jessabelle.

~Flashback~ 10 years ago

After attacking Red Moon to find a new gifted wolf for father. I went to my room to be alone. I punched the wall and put a hole in it. ‘Damn it all. That poor little girl.’ After we pulled back I saw what that alpha did to her. That wolf I killed was the Luna, and they blamed her. ‘s**t, s**t, s**t. How could this have happened. She looked younger than I did when father gave me this scar.’ I shout in my mind to Silver. I was 21. That girl looked about 12 to 14. She couldn’t even shift. I smelled no wolf on her.

I am broken from my thoughts as my mother comes bursting into my room. “Well done Shianna. You made the alpha proud. Not only did we find a very special gifted wolf, but you made our job easier. That little b***h was blamed for the death of the Luna. It will be far easier to take her powers when her wolf becomes farel. Even though we have to wait until she is 24 for the real fruit to be ripe for picking.” She said, with a sickening smile. She looked proud of me for once, I was stunned.

‘No Shy! William and Tasha have done this long enough! We can’t let them have that girl.’ Silver growls in my mind. ‘I agree, but since they have to wait until she is 24, that gives us at least 10 years to figure out how to help her.’ I have pretended to be loyal to my parents in hope for their love and affections, but the b***d magic they used has stripped them of all emotions. They can’t feel love or kindness, not even to their own child. They need peace, but how was I going to give them that? I just didn’t know.

I plastered a fake smile. “I’m glad we found a strong one Luna. I will keep tabs on her so we can pick her at the right time.” I felt sick to my stomach. If either found out my true intentions were to save this girl from them, they wouldn’t hesitate to kill me. I mean I had to call them luna and alpha. Last time I called them mother and father was when father gave me this scar on my face. “Yes, see that her pack doesn’t kill her. We need her alive until her powers come in.” I nodded and she left.
