I shook my head. ‘No, we either save Jessabelle or die. No more. William and Tasha have done enough damage to the people they encounter.’ I told Silver. I heard voices coming closer to the study. Damn it! I quickly place the papers I was looking into down and look for a place to hide. There was a couch that was big enough for me to hide under.

As soon as I slid under the couch, the door opened. “So we know that they need her before her powers fully become awake, how are we going to find them?” I heard a man say. I saw three sets of feet from under the couch. It must be the alpha meeting with his beta and gamma. “Ryan is right. Was it really safe for Jess to go to Raven Moon so soon? I mean that is 3 hours away from here Raphael.” Another voice said. “I understand your guy’s concern, but she is with her mates and the protectors that the Moon Goddess sent her way.” A deeper voice said.

‘Ok if Raven Moon is 3 hours away from this pack, then that narrows our search.’ Silver said. ‘Yea, we just need to see if they say anything more.’ I listen to their conversation closer. “Plus it is only 3 hours by car. I am sure if something were to happen sooner one of the triplets would call us. Our wolves run faster than cars on the highway.” the deep voice said. “Not only that, but Sabrina did give us some of those summoning sticks. If we bring her here with that, she could teleport us to Raven Moon with her magic.” the 2nd voice said.

Sabrina? Magic? Was it possible that my aunt was still alive? “Yea plus with Sabrina with Jess right now, i guess she is pretty safe from William. She also is starting her training.” The first voice said. “Alright, now we need to up the training of our own warriors. Just because William and Tasha are using magic to try and take Jess doesn’t mean that we can’t help out with physical strength.” The other two agreed, then they spent the next 20 minutes talking about training. They grabbed some papers and left.

I stayed for about 10 minutes to make sure no one was coming back into the office. ‘So they know about William. I wonder if this Sabrina girl with magic was actually my aunt. It would be a pretty small world if that were the case. I went back to shuffling through papers and found what looked like to be a treaty. So Thunder Mountain and Raven Moon are in a formal alliance. I kept reading. The territory borders were written on the map part of the folder. That must be so they know where their lands begin and end. I smiled. Now I knew where I was going.

I use the copier in the office to make a copy of the map. Since I was a rouge, it was not like I had a cellphone or anything. I put everything back and jumped out the window and booked it to the tree line. While glancing at the map every so often I was shifting between my wolf and human forms often to make sure I was going the right way. I will fulfill my promise I made to the Moon Goddess, Isabella, and my true father. Ever since I had that dream.

I felt like I was floating in the air. Then I heard someone speak to me. “Shianna, my sweet child. I wish I could have saved you from your mother’s choice all those years ago.” I snapped my eyes open. “Who are you?!” I yelled. Silver began to purr. “Silver? You never purr.” “Mother is finally here to guide us.” Mother? Then I saw a beautiful woman with long silver hair, pale blue eyes, and her skin seems to glow from the light of the moon. “Moon Goddess?!” She smiled. “That is one of many names I go by. I have important information for you and Silver, but I also have a bit of a gift.”

I finally felt like my feet were back on solid ground. The Moon Goddess stepped to the side and I saw a huge silver gray wolf coming towards me. He became clearer to see with every step he took towards me. “Hello my sweet daughter. I feel so complete to finally see you.” He said to me. Daughter?! “What do you mean daughter? Alpha William gets upset when I used to call him father, and you’re not his wolf.” The wolf growled at the name. “William is not the human he used to be. I am Archer. I was William’s original wolf. The wolf he has now is just a shell of a wolf that Tasha made with the b***d magic.”

“Oh so that is why he looks nothing like you.” William’s wolf now was a brownish red wolf, but I could never speak to that wolf. Archer nodded. “I am so sorry my little pup.” He rubbed his muzzle against my face and licked me. I giggled. I never knew wolf k****s were so ticklish. He purred. “But if you are William’s wolf? What are you doing with the Moon Goddess.” The Moon Goddess stepped in and said “I will explain, but you should sit.” Archer sat down and I sat next to him. I leaned my head on his side. He purred more and placed his tail over me as if to wrap me in a hug.

The Moon Goddess explained to me how my father, William, had originally died in his old pack. How mother let her grief and sorrow consume her and she used forbidden b***d magic to bring him back to life, but doing so stripped William of his original wolf, Archer, and forced them both to live cursed lives. “Now to sustain his life as it is now, they are stealing the lives and gifts from my other children. Each time they steal a life, the more they corrupt their souls. Please save them from themselves.” She asked of me.

“How? I can’t even stand up to them myself. I have kept my own gifts hidden just so they wouldn’t kill me.” I started to cry. “Jessabelle will help set them both free, but she will need your help as well.” She said. Jessabelle? “She wouldn’t help me. I killed her luna and she got punished for it. She would kill me if we ever met.” “That is not true.” I heard a new female voice. I snapped my head to it’s direction. There was a woman with kind eyes, but b***d on her neck.

“Hello dear. My name is Isabella. I am the luna you killed that day.” I felt the life drain from my body. “I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry. I-” I started to cry. Isabella and Archer both came closer to me and hugged me. “Oh dear. I am not mad. I was informed about your life and I watched over both you and Jessabelle. I forgive you, but you promise me you will forgive yourself, help save Jessabelle, and set your parents free from this life.” I nodded while sobbing. “I promise. I vowed to myself I would find a way to save her when Tasha told me that she was the next target. I have until she is 24 to find a way.” They nod.

I made it to the human town close to their pack house according to the map. I had to be careful. Most wolves would kill rogues on site, but I needed to get to Jessabelle. She would be the only one that could tell I wasn’t lying when I explained myself. If I had her backing up my story, since she was their luna, then they would listen to me. Now I just got to figure out how I was going to get to her.
